Started the seeds in water, then I put them in the peat pellets after soaking about 12 hours. The 3 apple blossom seeds popped up after about a day in the pellet, while the zkittles popped through after 4-5 days. I had the lights at 30 inches at 30% dim, but it seemed like the seedlings were stretching so I turned the the light up to about 40-60 over the next several days as well as lowering an inch or 2. Gave the pellets some water w root 66/thrive every day or 2.

Transplanted apple blossom pellets into small containers after roots began poking through. Fed/wet soil with about 3/4 cup of water each. gorilla zkittles is still kinda stuck in its shell. Hopefully it will pop out in the next day or so. sf2000 is running somewhat hot. I may need to get an addition fan as well as pointing one fan directly at the driver. Residence is cooled by window units which only do so much in 90 degree weather, but the tent still seems warm.

Transplanted the gorilla zkittles. It got a tiny amount of root 66 and sugardaddy when planted. It had been stuck in its seed while germinating in the plug and i saw the first leaves stuck in the seed, so i not so gently tried to help it and broke off part of its cotyledon that was stuck in the seed. It seems to be doing ok. I gave the 3 apple blossom plants their first bit of the technaflora veg stage mix at half strength. Some of the leaves looked a tiny bit yellow on the tips, but i think they are fine. Doing fertilizer/ water / water , but i am probably not watering enough. Turned up the dimmer on sf2000 to about 80% now. Apple blossoms are popping off now. They seem a little stressed on some of the leaves but i am guessing a combination of heat/light/watering impefectly. Lil gorilla zkits is not looking great but still going. It has been hot lately, and my window units only do so much. My tent can only get so cool when my whole residence is hot. Tent has been about 85 F max and maybe gets to 74 at night if im lucky. Floats around 81-83 in the earlier parts of the day.

I kinda screwed up the counting of the weeks but not really accounting for germinating time, but whatever. Week 1 veg = through day 7 after planting seed week 2 veg = days 8-14 after planting Etc... Apple blossom plants are about 4-5 inches as of day 15. Apple blossoms looking kinda stressed on the lower leaves, but it could be heat or watering maybe? Gorilla zkits still kinda struggling but chugging along. I transplanted apple blossom #1 to a 2 gallon fabric pot on day 15. #2 to be transplanted day 16. Maybe #3 as well. Honestly do not have much an idea about how much to water. I have been going by weight of the plants to tell when they are dry. Prob need to increasing the watering.

Was gone for day 22- 26, had a friend watching/watering. Topped the apple blossoms on day 26. Plants look a little stressed. My guess is heat or light... maybe watering? The light wasn't adjusted while i was gone so i could see them growing closer to it. topped again on day 27 on my biggest plants to try to keep them more horizontal / in line with the others. did some lst for each plant to try to get more light to each growth point.

Plants have been recovering from being topped. I think i went too hard on them and removed too much at once. AB2 is slowly coming back but definitely stunted it a bit. AB1 seems mostly ok from it, but still added some time to it. I think something may have taken a bite out of AB2 as well :( I was hardening off a plant for a friend, and i brought a plant that was outside back into my tent. bad idea. I sprayed them all down a bit 1/10 rubbing alcohol to water then let them air dry a bit. Who knows if that's actually the case. I topped the gorilla zkittles once along with the other plants on day 27 i think, but i have also been doing some LST on it to pull it a little more horizontal. I really like how it turned out. the lower growths really caught up and its pretty flat on top. I let AB3 go for a while, but it was getting to the point where the top growth points were way outpacing the lower ones, so i ended up doing some lst. I am not sure how this one liked it, but it seems like i have a little more light on the lower parts. They all seemed a little stressed at the beginning of the week. I am guessing because of the heat. It was really hot still during the beginning of the week, but cooled down towards the middle/end of the week which has really helped keep temperatures down in the tent. I also added a big oscillating tower fan on the side, so that may also have help remedy it a bit. I am repotting them this week from a 2gal fabric pot to a 5gal or 3gal. I did one 5gal pot and didn't realize how big they are so i may end up doing one or two in a 3gal pot just to make them less cumbersome. When i repotted the one to the 5 gal, it seemed fairly compact. I am not sure if i let them go too long in the 2gal pot, so maybe that is stressing them as well for the bigger two.

All plants have been transplanted to final pots at the start of the week. Two biggest ones went in 5 gal pots and Apple blossom 3 and gorilla zkittles went in 3 gal pots because i didnt realize how much space 5 gal pots took up. Lollypopped a bit prior switching lights over for flowering, but i left some smaller stuff / fan leaves. i wasn't really sure how much to take off here. I am pretty happy with how they ended up in vegging. The smaller plants (ab3 and gorilla zkits) almost caught up in height to the two biggest. In the future, if i were to do 4 plants, it would be 4 3gal pots and not vegging them quite as tall. Some of the growth on AB2 seems really thin and small. I am not sure if it a lack of light, or a result of me topping too much.

Changed lights to 12/12 on day 42. My tent is already overflowing with only a few days into flowering. This is going to get crowded. AB2 has smaller growths. Maybe those parts aren't getting as much light?

One of my plants has a lot of growth tips that haven't developed into full size leaves. Any idea what might be causing this? Stress from being topped? Light/heat stress? Some parts of this plant has full growth, while other parts have these tiny, spindly growths.

Looks relatively okay, seems like nothing to worry about. However, note that thin, blade-like new growth is a symptom of phosphorus excess- that may not be the issue present, but keep that in mind.

It has been really hot in the beginning of the week. There are a lot of buds starting to form. My tent is definitely not big enough for my 4 plants. The ones in the back are shaded out a bit by the bigger ones in front, but there is no where for them to go. I tried to adjust things the best i could, and i defoliated a bit. I think i should have taken a bit more off the bottom sections of the plants before i put them into flower. I took off some lower growth around the middle of the week. My buds at the top have probably been a touch too close to the lights. AB3 is in a 3 gal pot in the back, so it is a little further from the lights and the hairs on the bud sites are much whiter. Overall things are looking pretty good, but i also have no idea what to expect moving forward as far as how the buds will turn out.

Flowering is going. I found some pollen sacs on one plant during the middle of this week. I wasn't sure if it would affect the others, so i removed it. It sounds like i would have been fine if i had just left it there and removed the sacs. Lessons learned for next time. Buds are starting to stack up. Nice and frosty.

Buds are stacking on nicely. They are pretty frosty as well. They don't seem especially large, but i have no idea what to expect and not sure how much more they will grow. Lots of stuff i do not know. Should i harvest the top parts first then let the lower parts keep going? I am kinda assuming i will do most of the harvest at the same time, just so i can use the tent to dry in. Currently on day 30ish of flowering, and the apple blossom has a supposed 45 day flower. The gorilla zkittles said it was a 60 day flower i believe. Not exactly sure when i am supposed to harvest. I think i still have a little ways to go. The pistils have started to turn brown/non white, but only a little bit. I am kinda expecting the leaves to wither eventually, but it seems like it's still going strong so i prob have another week or 2 of flowering to go. I have a microscope to inspect the trichs, but it is really tough to get clear pics. I think my light was a little too close to the top of my bigger AB and the GZ. I thought at first it was just lots of trichomes, but it definitely looks a little yellowed on top of the buds compared to the AB that isnt as tall/close to the light. I raised the lights so hopefully they are less stressed. Tent smells really good, and i think it might be just barely leaking out. The air coming out my fan smells really faintly of weed. I think the numbering of the days is messed up and how i am keeping track on here is confusing me. I am going to switch to number of days in flowering moving forward. I also have a few extra days in this week. The first few days in this one should go in the previous week.

I halved my nutes as i am guessing i am a week or two off from harvest. Flushing advice seems kinda all over. I plan to taper off to water from here on out. I have been on the feed water water cycle, so i may only have 1 or 2 potential feeds anyways. The plants are looking pretty good! Apple blossom has a flowering of 45 days, but it may end up being a week longer than that for my 2 plants. AB2 is looking really nice. I think i should have gone a lot harder on defoliation at the end of veg/a few weeks ago. It definitely seems like the furthest along. I have been keeping an eye on the trichomes and they are maybe 50/50 clear vs cloudy, but i have not seen any amber yet. It is starting to get some purples on the edge of the sugar leaves and some of the tips of the buds. Buds are starting to fill in a bit and look bigger. They are super frosty. AB3 has always been a bit shorter, so i gave it a little booster chair to be around the same height as the others. Its buds and pistils are much fluffier than AB3. Maybe it is because was getting less light? I can see the stems are getting weak/floppy. I have a feeling i should get some support on that one sooner than later. The gorilla zkittles looks alright. Some of the top leaves are kinda lime green in color, while the lower ones are all a healthy green. I am not sure if it is stressed in some way, maybe light or wind stress? The buds are slowing coming in though. These buds are also super frosty, and it's definitely getting some purpling on the edges of the sugar leaves. It is also a lot bushier than the others. I was planning on drying in the tent so i can utilize the filter, but that means ill have to chop all my plants at once which isn't ideal. May have to figure out something for drying them in a separate space.

The buds have been stacking up! AB2 is really close. I have been keeping an eye on the trichomes, and i have not seen any amber yet. I think it is just another few days. Lots of purples on the fan leaves, sugar leaves, and buds! I have been using the techniflora recipe for success package and it says to give some magiCal and sugardaddy a week before harvest, then water. I did a toned down version of what they said and it has been on water since. I am not exactly sure what i should be doing as far as flushing. I noticed it also has some seeds growing, which sucks. I am guessing the herm pollenated them? I have only noticed a few spots with the seeds thankfully. I am hoping it is not widespead. I did not notice any seeds on the others. AB3 is much fluffier buds than AB2. It also has not had any leaves start turning purple besides a few sugar leaves. It seems like it is a few days behind AB2. The pistils are turning a little slower and the trichs are maybe a day or 2 behind. Some of the stems are getting pretty weak on this one. The gorilla zkittles has a longer flowering time so i expect it to be behind a bit. It is starting to stack on the buds now. Definitely some yellowing in the upper leaves so i am not exactly sure how happy it is. I am thinking next week will be the harvest week!

Final week! My plan was to use my tent/fan to dry to contain the smell, so that meant i harvested all at once. I may not have given the gorilla zkittles enough time, but that was probably my mistake doing 2 different strains with different time frames. I really had no idea what to do with flushing. I had read conflicting things online, and local advice was to run 3x the pot size worth of water through the plants to flush. This would have meant moving my big ass plant into the tub, which i couldnt really do logistically. the technaflora recipe for success said to do some sugardaddy and magical a week before harvest then water after that, so for the big plant, AB2, i gave it a little of each ( maybe 1/4 what it said to give) then gave it extra water in the next waterings. the other two plants were on the tapered nutes or just water in their feeding schedule so it was mostly water for them to finish out. I had been keeping an eye on the trichs with a loupe, and was waiting for some amber on the big one. I saw some amber on the sugar leaves so i harvested a day or so after that after letting them dry out a bit.

This is a little misleading because i mixed up my 1 gorilla zkittles plant with one of my apple blossoms. They are both the lighter green and I did not do a great job separating them out well. Probably 30-45 grams of the total bud was from the GZ. I wasn't sure about how it would work hanging such big plants whole in my tent would go, and i didn't want to test the weight capacity of my tent either. I doubt it would have been a problem, but i ended up cutting my plants stem by stem close the the main stem. I hung them on a little drying rack for clothes. I let them dry for about 8 days at 70-74 F and 55-65 humidity. I then put them into jars. I think i may have dried them a bit too much in the tent as the humidity in the jars is 42% in some, and 52 in others depending on the plant. from what i understand i probably wasnt supposed to let that get under 60ish? I must have just done the curing process in my tent a little quicker. The buds are still really nice though! taste varies from fruit to floral. Smell is great! I was a little unsure of how much id actually harvest, especially with the herm on one of my bigger plants in flowering, but i am really happy with it. Overall great first grow experience! Feels like some of the best weed ive personally seen/smoked as someone who has never really had much fresh bud before! super fragrant, sticky, and covered in trichs. The high is nice too.
