First official grow! FastBuds!

Welcome to Growing with Grizzle! I've been a Cannabis user and advocate for many years, but this is my first official grow. A few years back, I grew a skimpy photoperiod outdoors, and had no clue what I was doing. She wasn't really cared for, nor dried and cured properly. Now, July 2021, as we celebrate our nation's independence, my home state is also celebrating independence, as the recreational use and cultivation of Cannabis has been legalized! With that being said, things are different this time. In addition to the desire to produce our own medicine, I feel I have the knowledge and tools to succeed. In addition to the medicine produced, I feel this journey is also going to bring me patience and great joy. Stick around! I like being different. I hope to disprove some common misconceptions around growing cannabis, even for first time growers: - I'll be growing autoflowers as a first timer - I'll be transplanting said autoflowers - I'll be using soil that is "too hot" - they will be trained, both HST and LST Now, for the grow: 6/24 - Used paper towel method to pop the seeds. 6/26 - 1/4" tap roots! Right into Fox Farms Ocean Forest, amended with additional perlite, in solo "instant transplant" cups. 6/27 - fully emerged a little over 24 hours. Started under an underperforming light..still need for indoors. 6/28 lid removed from cups 6/30 moved outdoors 100% Pics added for end of Germination week!
