RickSanchez These three photo plants are the first seeds I ever planted.
While growing my first automatic plant to harvest, I had the photo plants growing up in the background.
I use the plants to practice the growing process like watering, LST, topping and so on.
The strains used for this grow are straight out of the weed that I smoked... I didn't know any thing about the seeds, when planting.
Now I can see that I got two indica and one sativa strain within this random grow.
RickSanchez This week I did some defoliation.
I ripped almost all of the fan leaves from the bud sights, to ensure optimal light penetration. Since I started feeding some Calmag all three plants seem to be absolutely happy!
One of my plants became the victim of some sciarid gnats.
As you can see in the pictures,
I secured the soil, of all plants, so the sciarid gnats are not longer able to breed there.
Is this enough or do I have to do more? Any tips?
Thank you guys! 🙂
Yellow sticky traps, a very light spray of hydrogen peroxide 3% on the top soil/rocks. VERY LIGHTLY
Most bugs hate the smell and taste and can't live around it. Your just trying to cover the surface
RickSanchez Week six is the last one, feeding nutrients to the plants.
From next week on, the plants will only get plain water, until they are ready for harvest 🌱👍

RickSanchez The flush has begun and I can't wait to see if all three girls will be ready for harvest at the same time.
For now it looks a bit like the "Random Indica #2" could need a few more weeks of flowering before harvest.

RickSanchez Its the final week of flushing 🙂
I can't wait to harvest these babies!
After the last feed of just pure water,
I will just let them dry out in soil first and put them in darkness for two days, right afterwards.
