Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 5 of flower for this Purple Lemonade from Fast buds. She has been rather easy to grow so far and is starting to pack on some bud mass. These beautiful violets and purples are coming in quite nicely. She is definitely starting to get a sweet lemonade aroma.
I have added a tablespoon of the 444 to the feedings schedule. The 444 from Down To Earth has dolomite in the recipe which will supply the plants of plenty of calcium and magnesium for these later stages of flower.
The 484 has a lot of beneficial bacteria such as humic acid. Humic acid is a group of molecules that bind to, and help plant roots receive, water and nutrients. High humic acid levels can dramatically increase yields. Humic acid deficiency can prevent farmers and gardeners from growing crops with optimum nutrition. 484 is also containing seabird guano. Seabird guano dramatically increases both the quantity and size of blooms throughout the flowering period for all indoor and outdoor plants. Seabird Guano greatly enhances beneficial bacterial activity in the soil, and it makes an excellent tea or foliar spray when filtered.
The 444 has dolomite and basalt. Basalt brings in much needed micro-nutrients to deficient soils, and helps your plants uptake other nutrients. When your soils nutrients are out of whack, the uptake of one of more other nutrients may be effected. Dolomite Lime enriches soil with calcium and magnesium while helping to regulate and raise pH levels.
Mixing these two together is a great formula for these late stages of flower with some worm castings in the mix. Worm Poop well mixed into Coco improves soil structure. Worm poop as more humus than traditional compost or normal garden soil, worm poop increases the water retention in Coco, improves soil aeration and anchors plants nutrients that would otherwise leached away with water. Stay tuned next week as these girls are going to pack on some weight this week! βΊοΈ
@Hydro_Hiebs, anytime!π I have a sf2000 as well and I keep it on about 85% and just move the light as needed. If you have any questions I'm happy to try and provide an answer π
@Cynthia1710, Why thank you for your advice! I currently have my SF2000 dimmed to 55% and set 28 inches from the canopy. Trying to save a little money on electricity in the first couple weeks. Thinking about turning up the % a tad this week. And I will definitely lower my lights now that you brought it to my attention! Thank you so much happy growing! βοΈ
Good luck! Just harvested a couple of these, they didnβt yield much at all (mostly my fault) but what they did yield were nice purple buds with a very nice citrus taste with a hint of something sweetβ¦not sure if itβs berry or just a sweet citrus but Rosin quality was amazing (yield was horrible for pressing into rosin). Good luck!!!!
Plants look greatπ..
The #2 is looking like it's just about done, Beautiful purple budsπ..
I grew a Purle kush auto (x 2)awhile ago, they were finished and ready to harvest
on day 65,I was done with the top dressing at around day 55-57 and started flushing
with plain water, Just worried if you top feed now being so close to harvest you might
end up with some harsh nugs, Just some food for thought..
Later!!
@Hydro_Hiebs, i did bro yes i missed the one out of four. Do u need seeds?
I prefer quality over yield. And photos for me actually give me more yield. How long u veg ure photos? A 5 week veg and 2 month flowers kills any autos ive seen.
@GYOweed, If you check my diaries out I am growing photoperiods. Autos for me have faster turn around and better yeilds for the time they are in there βΊοΈ
@GroloCup, Loving this strain. So far Fast Buds is proving to live up to there rep. High quality quick buds that turn out frosty and aromatic if taking care of properly. βΊοΈ
