7/12 placed each seed in a glass with a small amount of tap water. Did not check ph, or ec. Placed glasses in dark cabinet, avg temp 70f+.
7/13 Transferred seeds to paper towel. Put back in cabinet. Avg temp 70f+
7/14 Added water in am. Chocolope starting to open. Added water late afternoon. Chocolope taproot now visible, see pic.
7/15 added water in am. Saw Jack taproot beginning to emerge and some growth on the Chocolope's. Watered pm and Jack taproot clearly evident. Same water, temp, location as previous days.
7/16 added water am and pm. Same temp and location. Good taproot goth on both seeds. Intend to transfer to soil tomorrow.
7/17 first leaves visible on jack. Both show good growth of taproot. Transferred both to soil, Fox Farm Happy Frog, in small cups. Moistened soil with filtered water, 93ppm 6.0ph. Back in cabinet for now. When stems emerge from soil will move under grow light.
7/18 no sign of either plant emerging from soil. Moistened once in am, again in pm 6.0ph. Temp 70-80f.
7/19. Transfered to soil two days ago. Jack started to emerge yesterday and showing signs of first leaf development. Chocolope still below soil surface. Watering twice daily via spray can to keep soil damp. Turned on Maxi Sun MF1000 today @ 10%. Will leave on 24hrs until both plants showing true leaf development and switch to 18/6.
7/20 ended up carefully pulling up the Chocolope. Turns out it was much deeper than I had intended and was fairly stiff and dried out. I placed it back in the soil right at surface level and gave it water. Within a couple of hours her leaves were clearly visible well above the surface. Moistened the soil in the evening and set timer on light to 18/6. Still only 10%, will gradually increase over next week or so. Water ph6.0, temp ~75-80f. Humidity ~50%
7/21 true leaves becoming slightly more prominent. Same, water, temp. Bumped light intensity to 40%.
7/22 bumped light intensity to 60% otherwise wash rinse repeat of yesterday.
7/23 bumped light intensity to 80%. Wash rinse repeat.
7/24 hotter than normal for a significant part of the afternoon, close to 90. Watered more generously than usual. Bumped light to 100% extreme temp was due to external evironment not the change in lamp output.
7/25 upper 80s most of the day. Watered am and pm.

7/27 Official day 1 of veg. Mixed 1/8 tsp Great White into 1 liter ph 6.6 and saturated each plant. Temp +90. Checked in PM and notable growth of the chocolope today.
7/28 temp: 85+, humidity 45%, light 18/6. No water added today, soil still appears moist from prior day's watering. Chocolope still outpacing Jack.
7/29 fed 1 tsp Fox Farm Big Bloom in 1 ltr, ph 6.6. Let water run through each plant. Same temp, humidity. Lowered light to 18"
7/30 temps over 90 again. Working on it.no water. Same light

8/1 full soak with ph 6.8

8/3 temps cooler today, low 80s. No water or nutrients.
8/4 watered until it ran through, ph 6.5. Lowered lamp to 16 inches.
8/5 mixed 1.25 tsp of fox farm big bloom, 1 tsp fox farm grow big, and .25 tsp cal mag into 1 liter water Ph 6.8. Fed until ran through each pot.
8/6 obvious signs of nutrient issues. Have been having issues with temp and humidity control. Moved a humidifier from another tent to this one to try and stabilize and keep at a much higher level. Temp issues still unresolved.
8/7 watered with 1/8th tsp great white., ph 7. Topped both plants at the upper node. Some roots visible from container drain holes so will repot within next few days. Monitoring nutrient issues to see if Thursdays feeding and better humidity have an effect.

8/9 humidity levels better with larger humidifier. Temp still an issue
8/10 transplanted in to 1 gallon bags. Mostly happy frog with a small amount of ocean forest mixed in. Watered until run through ph 6.7

8/28 Missed several days of logging. It was convenient to extend veg a few days which lets me start my week and feeding schedule on the same day.
Transplanted both plants in to 3 gallon buckets.Bottom half is approx. 50% Foxfarms Strawberry fields, 25% Ocean Forest, and 25% Happy Frog. Top half is the Happy Frog Ocean Forest mix from the 1 gallon pots and a 50/50 mix Ocean and Happy.
After transplanting I fed both plants 3tsp Grow Big, 2Tsp Big Bloom, 2Tsp Tiger Bloom, 1/4 tsp open sesame, 1/4 tsp great white, and 1 tsp cal mag. Fed each a full gallon, letting excess run through. A bit sloppy with the ph. 6.35 for the Chocolope and 6.75 for Jack.
Light height 18". Schedule 12/12. Humidity 50%. Air temps 80+ day, 70s at night.

Much perkier after getting fed and watered yesterday but clear evidence of a nutrient deficiency which occurred from feeding several days later than usual. The boosted soil and feeding are helping it bounce back.

9/1 watered both until ran through pot, ph 6.6. Trimmed lowest growth for better air flow. Also took trimmings for clones from both plants.

9/3 Stretch.... but jack is turning out to be a hungry girl. Havent fed for a week but even with all the amended soil she's showing signs of some nutrient deficiencies. Feeding tomorrow.

9/8 havent posted for a couple of days. No water, nuts. Temps low 80s tp low 70s. Humidity ~50%. Nice stretch the past few days. The Chocolope is 23" and the Jack is 16". Light height is about 16 above the Choc. Still monitoring the Jack for nutrient issues. Hasn't improved or worsened since feeding.

9/12 nice stretch by the Jack. This is my first grow of either strain and the difference between them is astounding.

9/18 trimmed bottom of jack significantly with the hope it helps boost growth to the flowers. Did some light grooming of the chocolope to take off some dead/dying leaves, and some low branches.

Had to go out of town unexpectedly. Came back to both plants being severely dehydrated. Both have recovered but a lot of leaves were damaged and died. Still cleaning that up.
