Getting swoll! Its starting to smell very strong in my yard. The plants are filling in really well. The rain has been non stop. Having trouble getting my nutes in, at least the fabric pots help to prevent over watering. Going to be time to set the next level of netting soon. Then will complete the structure by adding net trellis to the 2 sides of each plant that dont have metal trellis
Looks like it's time to start bloom nutes! The tiny preflower hairs are starting to form. Its about to get real smelly in the backyard. Hopefully everything goes as well in this stage as the last.
Not much change that I can notice. Going to do a light defoliation in a week or two. The G13 is the farthest along into flower, the other 3 only have a few "hairs" showing, but they are coming along quite nicely.
Flower is in full effect, buds are starting to form. Still debating defoliation next week, not sure how I will manage it with so much growth. But, will do at least a light trim to help prevent mould and improve bud size. Last year I didnt defoliate much, if at all, and colas were still massive with a heavy harvest. This year the plants aren't growing on top of each other and have a much larger canopy. If all goes well the hope is to have 1-3 lbs per plant. Last years harvest was 5 lbs overall and the way things look this year harvest should be better.
All but one have started to show bud formation, with many hairs. The zombie df is lagging behind, but hopefully will join its sisters by end of week. Feeding twice a week right now, did some moderate defoliation this week to try to eliminate the sucker branches that wont produce solid buds. Semi lolipopped I guess? 🤷♂️. Big fan leaves starting to fall off also, everything seems to be coming together. This is always the most stressful part of an outdoor grow. Will probably continue to thin the large fan leaves to allow the best airflow.
Had to add some support to the super lemon haze, some strong winds and rain had some of the branches buckling, wrapped it in a net trellis, should do the trick.
Started to flush G13 this week. Zombie df finally is in full flower. Should be harvesting soon. Setup all 4 girls on a drip system from my rain barrels.
Good week, G13 is still the closest. On week 2 of flush this week. Hopefully will be finishing off next week. Trichromes are turning milky. Zombie DF is the farthest behind still but is coming along nicely. Smelling real nice in the backyard.
Its been raining non stop for 2 days now, had to add some netting over the top colas, they were starting to droop. Free flush, but hoping it slows down and I dont get any rot out of the excess moisture.
Girls survived the heavy rain with very minimal molding on 3 satellites. Will keep an eye out for more, but looks like i caught it early enough. Harvest is coming soon for the g13, super lemon, and shishkaberry. Zombie df is still behind, but it is looking good.
This plant had some mould, lost about an ounce. Will update weights once its dried. Pretty happy with minimal loss. Did some wet and dry trim, and froze all the popcorn buds for bubble hash and live rosin. Will update pics as I go. Got about 21 grams of bubble hash, pressed it all into about 13 grams of live rosin.
Overall this was a heavy producing plant. Will update weights once dried and trimmed. Dry trimmer saves so much time with a reasonable trim. Bucked off a lot of popcorn buds and other buds to make live rosin. No issues with mould even though it rained all of October.
Had to take this one down quick as I was away for a week and it was going to rain everyday after. Didnt trim it as well as I could have, but came out alright for how little effort I made taking it down.
