These are reg seeds developed by local grower/breeder. Named after the speed of growth. This is only the second time using peat pellets but I had 100 percent germination last time. Hopefully all goes well
I think this week went well soaked seeds for 2 hrs. They went into the pellets and 60 hrs later bam seedlings. Nice tap roots on all of them super happy about that. Went straight into 1g pots. Might be a delay at the start. Just keep my watering low for now.No nutrients yet. Just pH the water. Running 2 different leds one is more red bias with alittle bit of added CFL bulbs. It hard being patient and waiting. 😄
Well these ladies are loving life. I topped them all this week. Some at different nodes then others. I just want to see if there's any major difference when it comes to the end. Next I want to transplant and start a little lst with them.
Well the girls are strong and gorgeous. they all got transplanted this week healthy roots. I went from a number 1 to a 3 pot. Started training some of them. A bunch stayed shorter but there's a few sprouted taller. I'm keeping an eye on them as these are reg seeds. Either way I'll keep training and keep feeding for a couple more weeks at least then put these babies in flower. 😊
Not sure what happened with the weeks. Just starting week 6 of veg. Plants are all looking amazing. I'll start pruning this week and then get ready for flower. Once they heal of course. They are starting to show sex. Fingers crossed there all female. I had one male out of 10 seeds last time I grew these.
The plants are doing great. Although I had to move them into the flower room and switch timer around in there. Also means they are running under the cmh now instead of the less. I couldn't pull down anymore branches. This next week have everything pulled down. And hopefully ready for flower. As for sexxing some of them are too hard to see yet so no guarantees that all are female.
Well it's been an interesting week. Sometime throughout the first night in the bigger room my cmh fixture failed. Noticing almost 24 hrs later back into the veg room. Couple days in there I remembered I had an old hps which is now setup and the girls are under that while I deal with the warranty on my cmh. I have never actually flowered with an hps. It was given to me. Anyways still running 18/6 just cleaned up the underside and will give a few days to heal.
The girls this last week had alittle time to stretch out. They were under hps for the last of veg with my cmh being out of service for now. They did get some pruning on the bottoms. Not as much as I would've liked. But what do ya do. Haha. The lights have now been flipped and I'm going to try and ad a light rail to give better light across the room. And keeps the heat from being so direct over the buds. Don't want to cook them. Very uneven grow only a few were trained decently. 😉
Down 5. Had some males in the bunch. Which I'm not complaining a few of these stretched out pretty good. Some of them are about 5 feet tall. While the ones that did get the room for better training are 2 to 3 feet in height. I'll do what I can but for time being the girls are healthy.
My hps is now lifted as far as it can. It is going to be an interesting few weeks hahaha. One has stretched really good. She's over 5 feet and doesn't quite get the light at the top. I think I'll move some lights around and put and led up above those top colas. Always something to keep it interesting. They are 😍.
It's hard to place a hight because there all over the map. It's making it tough to light properly. I swapped out a light in my veg room and put it in here closer to the ceiling of the tallest one. Which is almost 6 ft. I know the led isn't strong enough but better than nothing. I did pull down the main branches a bit. Lacking some room though. Now just rolling with it lol. There all healthy that's all I can ask for.
The flowering process isn't it beautiful. I love this stage doesn't matter how the plant turned out in training or in this case the panic moments when they get too tall. 😅 because you start seeing the results of the work that was done. They are all doing well.
There is some size starting to happen. Super excited. I figured things were holding up good. Support wise. Until I mive some around and realized they were all supporting each other for the most part. In came the bamboo sticks lol. Plus side the really tall one is slumped over enough at the top they are getting some direct light. Had another bump in the road. Power outage and the girls didn't like it. Power was out for a few hours then where it cut out the timer would've ha 2 hours on then the 12 off. Other then a loss of some leaves they seem ok. So close don't want things going wrong now. Always an interesting experience. Happy growing everyone.
Had to ad in some more support. The girls are getting heavy. One of the buds took some heat damage 💔 😢 but all is good. Only got 3 feedings in with the overdrive and ran out. Funds are low so that's it. See how she grows lol.
