Another one I am excited to grow! Looking forward to seeing the results! I have my 2 Gallon pots sitting on my Seedling / Clone rack only for a few more days until I can harvest my 2x4 and make room for these girls 😊
Well I had one out of two purple punch Auto's from Barney's farm pop up. Very grateful to be growing these genetics. I am looking forward to the unique terpene profile that sounds oh so delicious!! I have been watering her everyday with about 25 ml of water with a pH of 6.5. So far off to a strong start! 🙏
I'd like to thank everyone for taking their time and checking my diary out! Thank you for all the kind support and likes that I'm getting from the GD community! I am happy to be in a community of like-minded individuals!
This week went very well. My grow room temperatures are staying between 73 and 79 degrees Fahrenheit. My SF2000 is dimmed to 60% and is 28 in away from the canopy. I am watering with about 50 ml of water every other day this week. I am increasing the amount of water gradually as the beautiful purple punch does its thing. So far she is my largest plant out of the seven in my 2x4 gorilla grow tent! I will be standing by patiently and enjoying the growth with little to no effort with my organic style of growing. I will only have to water when dry until around day 40. Then I will re-amend my coco!! Stay tuned✌️
Week 3 went very well. Only 12 more days until my first top dress. I am watering with dechlorinated water PH of 6.5 until completely saturated now every 4-5 days. She is the tallest of the bunch and is growing very fast! ... Stay tuned ✌️
Hello and thank you for stopping by my diary and checking it out. This week I have only watered when dry with a pH of 6.5. My last watering was spaced out about 6 days. I did some low-stress training this week a little later than I wanted to but better late than never. This next coming week I will be doing my first top dress as she has just been living off of the pre-charged time released nutrients that I mixed into her coco before germinating her. I do have very slight gnat larvae issues that the plant is showing via small white spots on the edges and one tip of a big fan leaf. I noticed these splotches on very few leaves but I was still curious on what was going on so I started scratching at the surface of the coco and with my decent vision I could see tiny tiny gnat larvae squirming around in my coco. So I have watered with a deluded neem oil solution and yellow sticky traps are on their way my shop was currently out of them when I stopped by. Other than that small issue I'd say everything is cruising along nice and easy with the purple punch auto from Barney's farm! She's definitely filling out and I am not seeing any signs of pre-flowers quite yet so she still got a ways to go I am so looking forward to this one! I'll see you next week! ☺️
Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by. This week I have continued low stress training on the purple punch auto from Barney's farm. I have done my first top dress with a 4-8-4 and a quarter cup of local organic worm castings. I have been watering this week with a pH of 6.5 every third or fourth day. The purple punch auto is still not showing signs of flower which is fine just telling me that she's going to grow into a monster.
Ever since she's was a seedling she has just been living off the precharged amendments that I mixed into her coco before I germinated her. This week she was showing me signs that she was ready for some food. So in the next week or two she will be uptaking some of those amendments that I have given her and she should be showing signs of tremendous health. I'll be looking forward to it see you next week! 👍☺️
Hello and thank you for stopping by week 6 with Barney's farm purple Punch Auto! It's been a great week she's starting to bush out real nice after her training she's taking it really well. ✌️
Hello and thank you for stopping by another week with my purple punch from Barney's farm. This is day 51 from when I planted the seed directly in the soil and started the germination process.
This week went very smooth I am watering every other day top and bottom with no runoff at a pH of 6.5.
She is lightening up this week so I did another top dress on day 50 of 3 TBSP 4-8-4 from down to earth and 4 TBSP of my friends organic worm poop.
It was 12 days in between feedings. I think I will go with 10 days next time with the purple punch. I will do 4 tbsp of 4-8-4 instead of 3 on my next feeding for her as she is hungrier than the other girls. 4 tbsp will be full strength on the 4-8-4. I'm sure she can handle it. She is getting big and looking about 2 weeks behind others in the flowering stage. Stay tuned! This will be a nice one ☺️
Hello and thank you for stopping by, this is the start of week 3 for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
Everything seems to be going just fine still waiting on my beneficial nematodes to come in the mail so we can take care of the gnat larvae issue that I have going on. I am planning on getting some yellow sticky pads as well.
She is slightly deficient possibly because of the abundance of gnat larvae in my coco feeding on my organic amendments.
This Purple Punch Auto is doing some serious stretching with robust internodes. It is going to be a beast! Still seems a couple weeks behind the others in flower. I am top dressing with 484 and worm castings every 7 to 10 days and watering with a pH of 6.5 of dechlorinated tap water. Nothing much else to say as everything is going smoothly with little to no effort thanks to my organic style of growing. Stay tuned for some more frosty next week! ✌️
Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 4 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm. She has been rather easy to grow so far. She is stretching alot more than the other autos next to her and taking her sweet time to make new shoots and bud sites. She will have heavier yeilds than the other autos I am growing but will take alot longer, perhaps 3 more weeks than some of them. But very much enjoying growing her and sometimes the best things in life takes time. My expectations are high on this one.
I have added a tablespoon of the 444 to the feedings schedule. The 444 from Down To Earth has dolomite in the recipe which will supply the plants of plenty of calcium and magnesium for these later stages of flower.
The 484 has a lot of beneficial bacteria such as humic acid. Humic acid is a group of molecules that bind to, and help plant roots receive, water and nutrients. High humic acid levels can dramatically increase yields. Humic acid deficiency can prevent farmers and gardeners from growing crops with optimum nutrition. 484 is also containing seabird guano. Seabird guano dramatically increases both the quantity and size of blooms throughout the flowering period for all indoor and outdoor plants. Seabird Guano greatly enhances beneficial bacterial activity in the soil, and it makes an excellent tea or foliar spray when filtered.
The 444 has dolomite and basalt. Basalt brings in much needed micro-nutrients to deficient soils, and helps your plants uptake other nutrients. When your soils nutrients are out of whack, the uptake of one of more other nutrients may be effected. Dolomite Lime enriches soil with calcium and magnesium while helping to regulate and raise pH levels.
Mixing these two together is a great formula for these late stages of flower with some worm castings in the mix. Worm Poop well mixed into Coco improves soil structure. Worm poop as more humus than traditional compost or normal garden soil, worm poop increases the water retention in Coco, improves soil aeration and anchors plants nutrients that would otherwise leached away with water. Stay tuned next week as this beautiful girl is going to pack on some weight this week! ☺️
Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 5 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
WOW the smell that she is putting on is like sweet cake or pie. I can see a purple tint starting to peak through the calyxes. I have a feeling this one will be up there on my list of favorite strains due to her terps she is sharing with my nostrils. She has been rather easy to grow so far. She will have heavier yeilds than the other autos I am growing but will take alot longer, perhaps 3 more weeks than some of them. But very much enjoying growing her and sometimes the best things in life takes time.
I can see some burnt tips starting. Her and the others are showing me this and telling me to ease up on the seabird guano from the 484. I am adjusting my feeding schedule with down to earth slightly. To help with this issue that is starting.
Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 6 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
I'm a little disappointed in myself for burning this plant in one of the most important weeks of flowering or even at all. Weeks five and six is really when you can put on some bud mass. I am thankful that it is not terrible and I will not let it progress. Today I am going to flush her soil with water pH to 6.5 about 5 gallons to help wash away some of the water soluble nutrients that I put too much of in the medium. Then I will let her dry out after the flush to get some oxygen to the root system before another watering.
I'm crossing my fingers on that this should help the burning to come to a stop and really make this girl fill out.
But on the flip side this Purple Punch from Barney's farm is smelling like funnel cakes that are frying up at a fair with some clove bactones. REALLY enjoying the smell already. This PP auto from BF is really putting on some flowers and is stacking some cola's high.
Thanks for stopping by I'll see you in a week with what I'm hopping to be some regression of the burning and progression of some beautiful flowers ☺️
Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 7 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
I'm a little disappointed in myself for burning this plant in one of the most important weeks of flowering or even at all. I can see that the burning has slowed down to almost a complete stop since the flushing. But I also can tell that the burning has hindered bud development slightly. In my opinion these buds should have alot more mass.
I also had accidentally dropped my carbon filter for my fan on this plant 3 days ago and bruised one of the tops of a cola. It also broke a branch but not completely off. I staked the branch up and she seems to be healing nicely from the injury. This plant could have been better taking car of but she is doing decent.

Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 8 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
She recovered nicely from the burning I did to her. After the flushing I could instantly tell the nutrient burn came to a stop. After some extensive flushing I been giving her a special compost tea that she has been loving. If I re amended with a top dress there would not be enough time between now and harvest for her to use up all the nutrients that will slowly break down. So compost teas will have to do for now. Compost teas are ready available to the crops instantly without having to wait for the organic matter to break down. If your feeding your crop too close to harvest, it will be a harsh flavor and burn hot so to me it is extremely important to make sure we have the smoothest tastiest smoke.

Might be my favorite flavor out of evey i have grown which is really saying something. But ya never know until you take that first puff of perfectly flushed, dried, and cures flowers.
Thanks for stopping by I'll see you in a week with some updates! ☺️
Hello and thank you for stopping by. This is the start of week 9 of flower for this Purple Punch Auto from Barney's Farm.
She is finishing up. I am about to chop her down tomorrow. The terpenes this crop is putting off is probably my favorite that I have grown. It smells like sweet funnel cakes at a fair with some kushy bactones. Definitely in love with the smell and look off this one. Stay tuned for some harvest updates. ☺️
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my harvest of the Purple Punch from Barney's Farm. It was a fun grow. If I didn't burn her in week 5 I think she would have been even better. All we can do is learn this time to be better next time. The results were still acceptable and am happy with the flavor this cultivar is putting off.
