Both seeds germinated successfully in 4 days using both the glass of water and paper towel methods. Went into the glass on Monday 19th April and sprouted on Friday 23rd April.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Monday 19th April 20:15
The seeds went into a glass of tap water (water had been sat out for 24hrs). I tapped them to ensure they fully submerged before placing them into the tent at 22°C with the lights off.
Tuesday 20th April 09:30
All 3 seeds sunk to the bottom of the glass after a gentle tap. I placed the seeds into folded kitchen roll soaked in the same water and then into a ziplock bag between towels in a cupboard.
I re-used the coco and perlite from my last grow and added some more perlite mixing it thoroughly and then filling x2 5 gallon fabric pots and x1 Solo cup.
Wednesday 21st April 10:00
I made 10L of water and calmag, 5L at pH 5.9 and 5L at pH 6.2. I soaked the coco in the pots thoroughly so they are ready for the seeds to be planted tomorrow or Friday. I have set the tent to 25°C to help dry the pots out a little in time for the seeds so the coco is not too damp.
Thursday 22nd April
15:30
All 3 seeds have germinated successfully each with a tap root around 1inch long. I gently made a hole just deep enough to house the seed and tap root fully then gently covered it so the top of the seed is about 1cm deep.
The coco is still damp but I still sprayed roughly 30-40ml of water and calmag directly on top of where the seed is planted. Lights 28" above the pots at full power and set to 24-0 for now. Humidifier set to full.
Thursday 22nd April 21:20
Gave all 3 plants a further 30-40ml gently poured where seed is planted. Coco is still damp so I'm not concerned about under watering but hopefully im not giving too much. I put a hrgrometer in the tent.
Both seeds sprouted on Friday 23rd April. I started them on around 30-40ml of tap water with CalMag (pH'd to between 5.8-6.2) on day 1 increasing the amount by roughly 100ml per day and slowly increasing the coverage until I was covering the entire medium.
On Day 4 I started them on week 1 strength nutes of a custom schedule I've put together.

DAY 1
Friday 23rd April 11:15
All 3 seeds have sprouted! I gave them each a further 60 squirts (30-40ml) of water and calmag to soil surrounding the seedling keeping it nice and damp.
My inkbird is reading a temp of 25°C and my hygrometer is reading 28°C...which to trust i don't know. [28°C/50%]
Friday 23rd April 23:00
I gave each seedling another 30-40ml of water and calmag and removed the plastic cup. [28°C/52%]
DAY 2
Saturday 24th April 10:30
I gave gave each seedling double yesterdays amount so around 100-120ml of water and calmag gently poured around the seedling to keep the surrounding coco damp. The humidifier had ran out of water so RH was very low. [25°C/32%]
Saturday 24th April 23:30
I gave each seedling a further 30-40ml water and calmag to keep the surrounding coco damp. [25°C/55%]
DAY 3
Sunday 25th April 10:30
I gave gave each seedling around 100-120ml of water and calmag gently poured around the seedling to keep the surrounding coco damp. The humidifier had ran out of water so RH was very low. [25°C/32%]
I made 10L of week 1 nutes with tap water, 5L at 5.9 and 5L at 6.2.
Sunday 25th April
23:00
I gave gave each seedling around 100-120ml of water and calmag gently poured around the seedling to keep the surrounding coco damp. The humidifier had ran out of water so RH was very low. [25°C/32%]
DAY 4
Monday 26th April 09:15
I gave each seedling its first lot of nutes today as I'd ran out of water calmag and they all have their first set of true leaves. I gave them each 200ml which was enough to saturate the area surrounding the seedling. [27°C/54%]
Monday 26th April 23:00
I gave each seedling a further 200ml of week 1 nutes which was enough to saturate the area surrounding the seedling. [27°C/54%]
DAY 5
Tuesday 27th April 09:00
I gave each seedling 300ml of week 1 nutes gradually increasing the area of application each day until the entire 5 gallon pot is being watered.
The Amnesia in the solo cup produced 255ml run off so I will reduce this down to 80ml per feed for the Amnesia. [27°C/48%]
I made 10L of week 1 nutes, 5L at a pH of 5.8 and 5L at a pH of 6.2
Tuesday 27th April 22:20
I gave each seedling 300ml of week 1 nutes.
[27°C/48%]
DAY 6
Wednesday 28th April 09:30
I gave each seedling 400ml of week 1 nutes and the Amnesia about 100ml which produced some run off.
Wednesday 28th April 22:00
I gave each seedling 400ml of week 1 nutes and the Amnesia about 100ml which produced some run off.
DAY 7
Thursday 29th April
09:30
I gave each seedling 400ml of week 1 nutes and the Amnesia about 100ml which produced some run off.
I didn't feed again today as the coco was damp enough and the seedlings were looking a little droopy.
Feeding them twice per day I built the intake up to 2L on Day 11 when they started on week 2 strength nutes which fully saturated the pots and produced 40-60% runoff. I will now just keep the coco damp continuing to top it up twice per day.
On Day 9 I lowered the lights from 28" to 24" above the canopy and changed the lights from 24/0 to 20/4.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DAY 8
Friday 30th April 11:00
I gave each seedling 500ml of week 1 nutes. Still increasing the area slightly every day as I increase the volume.
[27°C/54%]
Friday 30th April 23:30
I gave each seedling 500ml of week 1 nutes though only around the perimeter of the pot so now all coco has been covered. [27°C/54%]
DAY 9
Saturday 1st May 11:30
I gave each seedling 500ml of week 1 nutes and gave the Amnesia 100ml.
I made 5L of week 2 nutes with tap water at a pH of 5.8.
Saturday 1st May 23:30
I gave each seedling 500ml of week 1 nutes and gave the Amnesia 100ml.
I lowered the lights from 28" to 24" above the canopy and changed the lights from 24/0 to 20/4.
DAY 10
Sunday 2nd May 10:30
I gave each seedling 500ml of week 1 nutes and gave the Amnesia 100ml.
Sunday 2nd May 23:00
I gave each seedling 200ml of week 1 nutes as it was all I had to hand (coco still moist anyway) and gave the Amnesia 100ml.
DAY 11
Monday 3rd May 11:30
I gave each seedling its first lot of week 2 nutes and I gave enough to cover the entire medium and produce runoff for the 1st time.
I gave each seedling 2L of week 2 nutes and the Amnesia 200ml. Banana blaze gave 800ml runoff (40%), big bud gave 1320ml runoff (66%), and Amneisa gave 190ml (95%). [27°C/54%]
I added some nutes to some premade week 1 nutes to make 5L of week 2 nutes at a pH of 5.9.
Monday 3rd May 23:00
I gave each seedling roughly 400ml of week 2 nutes and gave the Amnesia 200ml as it was all I had ready made.
DAY 12
Tuesday 4th May 11:30
I gave each seedling 1.5L of week 2 nutes and gave the Amnesia 200ml.
I made 10L of week 2 nutes with tap water, 5L at 5.7 and 5L at 6.1.
Tuesday 4th May 23:30
I gave each seedling 1.5L of week 2 nutes and gave the Amnesia 200ml.
DAY 14
Thursday 6th May
Now that the medium is saturated I'm just topping the pots up with 1L of a morning (09:30) and 1L of an evening (23:00). The runoff is almost 50% so I will try lowering to 700ml per feed.
The plants are receiving 700-800ml per feed, twice per day which is producing around 30-50% runoff. They look great, really healthy and thriving in the 26°C constant temp and 60% RH. Bothplants are bigger than my previous grows at 21 days and the Banana Blaze roots have broken through the fabric pot at the bottom! I couldn't believe it, big thick white roots poking out the side right at the base. My phone has died (software issues) and so I don't have any photos of it sadly.
They started Week 3 strength nutes on Day 18 (Monday 10th May).
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DAY 15
Friday 7th May
I gave the plants 700ml each of week 2 nutes which produced some runoff.
DAY 17
Sunday 9th May
I made 10L of week 3 nutes, 5L at 6.0 and 5L at 5.7.
Plants receiving 700-800ml per feed twice per day producing 30-50% runoff. They look great, really healthy and thriving. [26°C/60%]
DAY 18
Monday 10th May
I switched them up to week 3 nutes today, still receiving 700-800ml twice per day at around 11:00 and 23:00.
I made 10L of week 3 nutes with rainwater, 5L at 6.0 and 5L at 5.8.
DAY 21
<---
AMNESIA STARTED FLOWERING
Thursday 13th May
I'm still giving each plant 700-800ml twice per day with exception to the Amnesia solo cup which is getting 150-200ml twice per day. My fan fan heater has burnt the tips on a fan leaf from each plant sadly as they must have been sat in the line of fire. I plan to raise the pots a little higher to avoid this however I have tilted the fan heater facing towards the ground for now so it is not blowing directly towards the pots.
The Amnesia is very dark and droopy with the lower leaves showing brown spots and so its clear she is unhappy. It would appear to be a case of overwatering. I suppose 400ml per day for a small plant in a solo cup is a bit much but I don't want to feed her any less frequently. I gave her a plain watering with rain water last night (400ml to give her a little flush) and so now I will let her dry out a little then reduce her intake to 80ml twice per day.
The Amnesia also appears to have started flowering already...couple of white pistils showing...wtf.
The plants have certainly benefited from being fed twice per day as opposed to once as the plants are bigger than my previous grows at 21 days and the Banana Blaze roots have broken through the fabric pot at the bottom! I couldn't believe it, big thick white roots poking out the side right at the base. My phone has died (software issues) and so I don't have any photos.
My oscillating fan has been dying for a week now and I keep finding it stopped and have to jig it around to get it working and so air flow has not been too good the last few days. Replacing the fan at the weekend.
The plants are now drinking more the last couple of days and so I've bumped their intake up to 1L twice per day and this is giving 20-30% runoff. Roots are poking through the pots on both plants and they both look health as can be.
I started some light LST this week by anchoring the base and bending the main stem slightly near the top. I'm trying to place less stress than I normally do when doing LST and so I only bent the very top node slightly and this was after letting her stretch taller than I normally do (I would typically have started LST 1 week ago).
On Day 26 (18th May) I meant to flip the lights to 12/12 however I made a mistake and accidentally left the lights on 24-0 and did not correct this until Day 30 (22nd May)! So the plants did not start a 12/12 lighting schedule this week as intended.

DAY 24
Sunday 16th May
The plants are now drinking more the last couple of days and so I've bumped their intake up to 1L twice per day and this is giving 20-30% runoff. Roots are poking through the pots on both plants and they both look health as can be.
I started some light LST yesterday anchoring the base and bending the main stem slightly near the top. I'm trying to place less stress than I normally do when doing LST and so I only bent the very top node slightly and this was after letting her stretch taller than I normally do (I would typically have started LST 1 week ago).
The Amnesia is still recovering from the overwatering and so she is now stunted badly and she started flowering on day 19 or 20 and the pistils are really showing now. This is going to be an interesting one because she's gotta go all the way with the other plants and so prob gonna be about 90 days of flowering by the time she's chopped.
Temps are consistent at 25-27°C and the RH is always between 40-70%. I'm going to flip the lights to 12-12 tomorrow so that the Big Bud starts to flower around the same time as the Banana Blaze.
DAY 26
Tuesday 18th May
I'm giving the plants 800-1L twice per day, temps still constant at 26°C and RH always between 45-65%.
The Amnesia is slowly recovering from the overwatering and she's now taking about 80-100ml twice per day. I should have started her on transition nutes (week 4 nutes) when she started flowering on day 21 but I've just gave her the first lot of trans nutes today after letting her dry out some.
I've flipped the lights to 12/12 now as well so that the Big Bud begins to flower around the same time as the Banana Blaze auto.
DAY 28
Thursday 20th May
I remembered today that when I flipped the lights on Tuesday I had set the light to "on" instead of the timer as I was tending to the plants at the time...like an idiot I forgot to set it to the timer so the plants have had about 36-48 hours of constant light which I hope doesn't cause any adverse affects.
I did the same again and somehow managed to forget to flip the lights to the timer and so they were still on 24-0 lights until day 30. THEY ARE NOW ON 12-12 LIGHTING! I have triple checked!
They are still looking great and healthy, being fed twice per day at around 600-800ml per feed and producing 20-40% runoff (I've not been measuring just going by eye). Temps are constant at 26°C and an RH of between 50-60%
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DAY 30
Saturday 22nd May
I did the same again and somehow managed to forget to flip the lights to the timer and so they were still on 24-0 lights until day 30. THEY ARE NOW ON 12-12 LIGHTING! I have triple checked!
The plants hit their pre-flower stretch this week before finally showing pistils on Day 41 which is the latest I've ever known an auto to veg. Its crazy that both planst have sprouted on the same day and shown first pistils the same day too, I gave them their first defoliation on Day 39 and removed all small lower shoots and fan leaves to increase air flow and not waste any energy on popcorn nugs. I have effectively lollipopped both of them removing 20-30% foliage.
I went away for the weekend and so they were not watered at all for 48hrs but they are still looking great and healthy. Other than that weekend they are still being fed twice per day at around 800ml-1L per feed and producing 20-40% runoff (I've not been measuring just going by eye). Temps are constant at 26°C and an RH of between 50-60%
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DAY 36
Friday 28th May
I'm going away for a couple of days and so I've fed the plants twice today in 8 hours ensuring the coco is fully saturated as they will not be getting fed again until Sunday when my brother feeds them.
Both plants are yet to show any pistils yet and they are the healthiest plants I've grown to date. Just luscious green and bushy with no nute burn at all and they are growing vigorously and loving the 2 feeds per day,
DAY 39
Monday 31st May
The plants look to have hit their pre-flower stretch now as they have really stretched since I saw them last on day 36. Still no pistils and so these girls are going to be a nice size.
As its day 39 and they are about to go into flower any day now I have given them their first defoliation and removed all small lower shoots and fan leaves to increase air flow and not waste any energy on popcorn nugs. I have effectively lollipopped both of them removing 20-30% foliage.
DAY 40
Tuesday 1st June
I snapped one of the shoots on the Banana Blaze yesterday when doing LST, the stems are so rigid! I've patched her up by strapping her to a kebab skewer planted in the coco to keep her straight and I'm sure she'll mend.
I think I may be seeing signs of the first pistils forming, this is the latest I've ever seen an auto flower.
DAY 41 <--- STARTED FLOWERING
Wednesday 2nd June
Both plants have started flowering at the same time. White pistils forming at bud sites.
The snapped stem on the Banana Blaze is healing but I set it back by accidentally knocking it when moving the plant and it fell down again. The shoot is not dying though and so I believe I can save it.
The Amnesia is now 3 weeks into flower yet I'm only feeding her week 1 flowering nutes because I've been so unorganized and unfocused on the Amnesia.
They've stretched again and so I've had to raise the light twice this week to keep it 16" above the canopy. The canopy is very even with an almost SOG result from LST alone. These are the healthiest happiest plants I've grown to date with absolutely no nute burn at all and just vigorous growth!
The temps have been constant at 25°C thanks to my Inkbird temp control and the humidity has been between 55-75%. The humidity reaches 75% at its peak and thats just natural, no humidifier on and so I will need to start utilizing the dehumidifier in the next week or 2 to keep it down to 45-55%.
I know I shouldn't have but I have given both another defoliation on Day 45 as some of the smaller shoots I had left in the hopes they would grow have not and so I had to remove them to avoid them sucking energy. I took the opportunity to remove move fan leaves that are blocking bud sites or where foliage was too dense for light penetration and I aim to now leave her be with only tucking leaves moving forward.

DAY 44
Saturday 5th June
They've stretched again and so I've had to raise the light twice in the last few days to keep it 16" above the canopy. The canopy is very even with an almost SOG result from LST alone. These are the healthiest happiest plants I've grown to date with absolutely no nute burn at all and just vigorous growth! I can't wait to start feeding her the Big Bud and Overdrive.
Amnesia had its first lot of week 2 nutes with Big Bud today.
DAY 45
Sunday 6th June
I know I shouldn't have but I have given both another defoliation as some of the smaller shoots I had left in the hopes they would grow have not and so I had to remove them to avoid them sucking energy. I took the opportunity to remove move fan leaves that are blocking bud sites or where foliage was too dense for light penetration and I aim to now leave her be with only tucking leaves moving forward.
DAY 47
Tuesday 8th June
I made 10L of Week 2 nutes with Big Bud and will start them on this tonight as we are 6 days into flower now. Still no signs of nute burn and they are happy and healthy with leaves all praying towards the light. Temps still at 26°C and RH fluctuates between 55-65%.
I had absolutely no time to document other than taking pics and so I'm now retrospectively completing the diary in September. I was feeding them 3 times daily, at around 09:45am, 02:00pm, and 09:00pm. I always watered to 10-20% runoff and I think they were consuming around 2.5-3 litres per day. I irrigated every watering (no plain water - always with nutes) and maintained the environment best I could between the dehumidifier, humidifier and fans. I used rain water mostly and only used tap water (left to sit out for 24hrs) when my rainwater supply dried up.
I struggled with high temperatures and high humidity due to the weather here at the time and the fact my tent is in a small shed and is insulated with fibre glass insulation (glass wool) so it gets really hot some days. I combated the high humidity by switching the dehumidifier on however this raised the temps to as high as 36°C and so I had to switch the inline fan on and open the tent door when using the dehumidifier and so I only had it on at times. The inline fan is left off typically as it causes positive pressure in the tent when the doors closed due to my exhaust fan not being strong enough to compensate. With the dehumidifier and inline fan on with tent door open the temps were stable around 26-28°C and the RH was around 62-67% so it wasn't the most optimal conditions.
