Should you be worried? Yes and no. Lady beetles are good insects as others have pointed out. They eat pest insects and are a great addition to an organic grow. If they showed up in your plant on their own and they are sticking around I worry about what they are eating. It is good that they are there eating the bad insects but it also means you have bad insects so I like to keep an eye on things.

Sure I agree with Chow 13 but I mean orange pistils is what we want and it’s that time of the season so 🤷♂️🏼 It’s happening and there’s really nothing that’s going to change that. It is what it is.

Several things can make the pistils go brown early. Heat, Bugs, Abuse ( heavy rain/hail or high winds for extended(8h) period of time. A 2h downpour with hail wont do it.) and pollination.
