Hi there. I’m also doing KNF but for an outdoor grow (LAB, FPJ, FFJ, and WSC, but not OHN or FAA which sound like too much hassle). Are you not using LAB? Plants seem to really like that. I see Growdiaries now has custom grow methods so I’ll tag things with KNF. Anyway, cheers and good luck.

@mrmayconcr, hi there. I started a reply and got sidetracked….anyway I read organoman’s good answer to your soil pH question. I don’t worry about soil pH mostly because it’s a hassle to measure with a water pH meter. If the water pH is good and the soil is reasonable to begin with it will be fine. Soil pH meters can be really inexpensive and don’t even need batteries. Another grower here doing KNF (kukuriq) was having problems and my suggestion was to buy a pH meter. He was using low alkalinity rain water which means a small amount of acid can really lower the pH a lot. Tap water likely has more alkalinity (acid buffering capacity) so it won’t shift so much when you add the LAB.
