Started 2 seeds of Dutch Passion - Auto Power Plant. I used paper towels and two plates to make germination happen. For the liquid, I used Hydrogen Peroxide. Seeds cracked in about 12 hours and the first part of the root appeared. In about 24 hours from this time, I put seeds in the soil. In another 24 hours with just a little extra help, both came out from soil and loose the shell of the seed
(Started on 16th of July)
7 days, 25th of July 2021 - In 24 hours I use around 250 ml water for each plant. while on fourth day after coming out of the soil, I used advanced nutrients and water with it once. After that, I continued watering with just ph balanced water. There is some leaves discoloration, yellow strips in the middle of them and I don't know the cause. Maybe it was because of the nutrients?? hope it will be fixed.
9 days, 27th of July 2021 - They both looks good. As I mentioned earlier, leaves discoloration still present but I think new leaves looks better. So maybe It was because of nutrients. I decided to let them settle and give them just PH balanced water without nutrients this week. Each of them was watered with 1 liter. I dont know why, but plant #2 looks smaller and leaf on one side is curled, Cant find out the reason for it and hope next set of leaves will be normal (probably it is because I took off the seed shell before it was removed by itself. Maybe I damaged the leaves while removing by hand).
Plant to Light distance is 35cm and I set PPFD at 450 uMol. 20/4 Schedule
Day 12 (30/07/2021) - Gave nutrients. 250ml to each plant.
Day 14 (01/08/2021) - They looks nice. I think that they are smaller to their age, but overall its fine. As I guess and fount out, the leaves discolorations was because of unbalanced PH. I'm going to controll for the next waterings and hope the next leaves will be fine. Im gonna feed them second time this week but with 500ml or 750ml solution this time
Day 16 (03/08/2021) - Gave nutrients. 750ml per plant.
Hi guys
Need your advice. I notice this kind of leaves discoloration and I can't find out the reason. I thought maybe it is caused by PH disbalance. I don't have any other idea. Auto Power Plant by Dutch. As I see other diaries, I'm not the only one experiencing this problem
Deffo check your Ph levels, I use Ph Perfect advanced nutrients personally, does it for you, makes life easier, never had a problem with them, 2ml per litre depending upon how much the plant requires as one I had was a heavy feeder and was taking 3.5ml per litre the greedy bitch lol, hope this helps and best of luck with your project 🌱🔥
