Where are your air stones? Roots can be submerged in water but it has to be oxygenated well via air stones. Also growing DWC you will need a "sterile" system...no organics or living organisms as it will grow into something nasty. I used Dutch master ZONE to keep things sterile. Here is one of the DWC runs I did.

@Ketamine, You bet bud I have the air stones in the res and the res is sealed so all the fresh air goes threw the return water lines and the roots will be in paradise 😎
