Inside Jack

This is my maiden indoor grow. My tent is only 2 square feet and 4 feet tall. I'm able to get in the necessities. This is Jack 47 FAST version by Sweet Seeds. It isn't very clear if this is an autoflower or a photoperiod, because the description says it's both. I thought it might flower two weeks ago, and switched it from 18 hours/day to 12. She's now been on 12 hours with both veg and bloom lights on for two weeks. I'm hoping that pistils will begin this week. I also began LST about week 2, and then topped her in week 3 because she was growing too tall for the tent. It looks like I might get 8-10 colas from how she looks right now. I manually water her 1/2 gallon every 3 days, and fertilize once per week.

Inside Jack is doing great at day 71 since sprouting. She is on day 42 of flowering. The breeder notes says flowering time is 49-56 days. She puts out a strong diesel smell. Her trichomes still look clear, and pistils are beginning to brown. This is my first indoor grow, and odor is a major issue I am contending with. I just moved out of a small 2x2x4 ft. tent to a 3x3x5 ft. tent ,and was able to move all the equipment out of it. I now have a ton of room. For air filtration, I use a carbon filter and duct fan for each the intake and output. I am running a humidifier, but so far am only able to get it to 42% rh. I also turned off the output fan to try and build up humidity, but it allows odor to escape. I ordered a y-splitter and extra hose to expand the fog output throughout the tent. She smells very potent, and I am looking forward to harvest. Aloha!

I think I'm about a week away from harvesting. Week 12 begins on day 78 since sprouting, and day 49 of flowering. I continued to struggle with getting enough humidity in the tent, which is why I think the tips of leaves burned. I had put in a terrarium fogger, and burned out the motor. So, I ordered the Vivosun humidifier to go along with the Amazon basic one already in the tent. To keep the odor down, I'm running an intake and output duct fans, and also have a small desk fan mounted above the light. I have four hygrometers inside. The humidifier is set to 55 rh. one on the floor is reading 56 rh, inside pot is 62 rh, and hanging above plant reads 44 rh. Smell is awesome for me! 😇 but not for my wife 😝. I look foward to harvesting in a few days. The packaging says between 49 - 56 of flowering, and I'm right there.

This was my first indoor grow. I began using a small tent, and ended up moving into a larger tent to help with temperature and humidity. I watered about 1/2 gallon 3 times per week in a 3 gallon fabric pot. In the end, I harvested 4.25 ounces of wet trimmed flower.
