All seeds were germinated using the paper towel method and planted once root was about .75 inch. I started the lights around 36in and have adjusted down from there while also messing around with the power setting (now have the left light at 50% and the right at 75%). Also, the seeds are planted in fox farm soil which I flushed and let dry out a bit before planting. So far, I think two of the seedlings look pretty good, one of the seeds got stuck in the shell so is lagging quite far behind, and the last started out the strongest but has started to turn yellow and brown at the tips and curl up. I was very light with the watering for the first week, only wetting topsoil once a day so I think it may have nutrient burn from the soil? Because of this I did my first full water yesterday, watering until it was seeping out of fabric pot at the bottom. Not sure if this was the problem but didn't think it was light/temp/humidity/ph since two of the plants are looking good. This is my first grow so any help is much appreciated!

Any ideas why only one of the plants has started to turn yellow and brown at the tips?

Hello fellow grower, Fox farm soil can be a little potent for seedlings even after rinsing and drying for a little bit. Just judging by the pictures It does look like the young seedlings roots are getting slightly burned from the potent mix. Your other babys look like they are eating it up just fine this baby in particular might be a little bit sensitive. I would just keep watering with clean water at a pH of 6.5 and let's hope this baby pulls through!

Think things are going alright since last week. Two of the plants are looking great, although one has very slight light stress with the leaves curling in, so I lowered light power. One plant has seemed to stop yellowing from hot soil and I think the new leaves are looking nice and green. The straggler has also caught up and is looking pretty good now. Watering about every other day/ 2 days and they seem to be doing fine with that. Hopefully the progress continues!

So one plant continues to thrive while the rest have their own respective issues. I've decided to concentrate on the two that look the best and if any of the others end up pulling through then great but if I keep holding back light intensity for the stragglers it will hurt my yield for the good ones. With that said, started LST on two. One was a little lengthy so hopefully it'll help the plant bush out a bit. Looking forward to seeing the progress over the next couple weeks!

Given the hiccups a few of the plants experienced in the beginning, I think they're looking pretty good now. Two have taken well to the LST training with one showing several colas popping up. Couple probably won't do too well with yield but at this point I may as well see them through flower. First little white hairs popping up!

Plants have really made a comeback over the last two weeks and flowering is looking great. I untied the LST probably a little too early as the plants stretched up significantly after doing so but I don't think it should hurt the yield too much. Just did my first nutrient feeding a couple days and so far they seem to be eating it up.

Still struggling with nutrient issues but the plants are budding rapidly now. Two plants look promising but the rest I'm just seeing what happens lol. I think the combination of using hot soil from the start and delaying the nutrient schedule into flowering stunted the plants pretty significantly but at this point I'm going to ride it out and see what kind of yield I get. Next grow I'm definitely planning on going with coco medium and running a nutrient schedule from week 1. Also, I must have missed an updated at some point because I'm definitely 7 weeks in. Hoping to harvest in about 2 weeks
