These all came off the recent Coco Melon plant, and the clone gang dairy for their veg weeks.
I have three in 3gal air pots in the right box and 1 in a 5 gal air pot in the left box.
The ones in the R box look like they lacked a nutrient at some point. Leaves are spotty and roughed up, the 5G in the L box looks fine. Heat may be a factor.
Gave all of them langbenite, 1T, yesterday 8/1.
Two days of dark before starting:
- L box 7/23
- R box 7/19
I've lumped all 4 of these plants into one grow. The three in the R box look like they may be taking a beating due to heat, though the healthier looking one in the L box is also shedding a lot of leaves off the bottom all of a sudden. I think this is related to the amount of flowering confusion these clones may have gone through earlier. I have been keeping the nutrients light for now but may feed some bloom soon.
The buds on these are growing, but I've definitely got a mildew issues on my hands. The large plant in the L box and the smaller ones in the R box both have it. Bad on the inner, lower leaves. One plant is avoiding it more than the other two in the R box, but it's eventually getting everywhere and you can smell in on the larger one.
I've cut off as many expendable laves as i could starting with the worst.
I also took the large plant off the SCROG and out in the sun to see if that will help kill the mildew off. The branches were surprisingly weak without the screen, which I guess shouldn't be that surprising. I'm going to leave the smaller plants on the screen for now.
These were my clones, nothing wrong with the seeds. I only mark 'weak' because this strain was clearly having a harder time than the OG Kush I had right next to it, and the OG handled it better.
But the mildew was my fault.
These got mildew on them early on, and I never took enough action to deal with it. In the end, I took them down a couple weeks early, dried that out, and froze it planning to make my first batch of bubble hash.
I need to take a lot more measures to avoid PMD and mold in general. We've had a really wet year, and there's clearly growth all around my house outside. That's coming inside and I need to anticipate it.
