Deformed fan leaves where the second node should be growing out of. Nothing is growing out of the top and the leaves are stuck together and not branching off. Will top at the first node and let the 2 tops coming out of the first node be the main tops
Had to top this White Widow plant at day 19 due to a deformation in the fan leaves before the second node could come in. The two fan leaves grew stuck together and a top never formed at the second node site. So in order to get the lower branches on the second node to fill in and become the main stems I had to remove the deformed fan leaves and pretty much top in at the second node. This is what we are left with lol She is still very beautiful and I am actually looking forward to seeing how this turns out with the two main tops from the first node acting as the main stems now.
Day 25: Started to hold down the two main tops that were created be the topping of the second node to start low stress training. She seems to be doing very well considering the mutation early on.
White Widow is looking amazing. This one was main-lined on complete accident. Well, I wouldn't neccessarily say it was on accident, but becasue of a deformation at the second node site. The two fan leaves grew stuck together into one leaf and nothing was coming out of the top so I topped it at the first node and this is what I ended up with. Trained her two main shoots down to make a main-line and I am actually excited to see how this technique works. The plant looks very healthy and seems because of the mail-lining that it will be a very easy plant to train and get light into the bottom canopy.
White Widow is doing absolutely incredible. A little bit of leaf droop from underwating. Watered just a few hours too late one day because I was late for work and waited until the afternoon to water. She is bounching back now. Starting to throw out some white pistols from her calyxes and is preflowing nicely. Starting to stretch. Going to transplant to a 3 gallon for 2 weeks then a 5 gallon for 12 and 12 light schedule and flowering. Haven't updated in a few weeks due to a very busy schedule the last few weeks so this is an update from week 6 to week 8.
