Everything has been green and amazing with this La Confidential from DNA Genetics. No problems at all and seems to be very healthy. Foliage is very green and happy and has been a pleasure to grow. Have a feeling this one is going to be a good girl. Coco with perlite and worm castings and slow release nutrients. Water when dry and top dressing every 3 or so weeks depending how she seems to be doing. Plan on a few nutrient/compost teas through her life too consisting of kelp meal, alpha alpha meal, worm castings, blackstrap molases, and high phosphorus bat guano during flower. May try a high nitrogen guano for veg.
La Confidential is looing very hearty and bushy. Staying very compact and very small distances between nodes. This one is so hearty, the fan leaves block any light from getting inside the plant. Leaves were curling inwards in the beginning I think due to high heat, light, and over watering in the beginning. First coco grow, so still trying to adjust to the watering cycle with coco as it holds alot more water than soil. Other than that she has been overall very healthy and growing a little bit every day. Definately going to need to do some light defoliation and lst with this one. Topped this one at the sixth node a few days ago.
She is very healthy and growing nice and bushy. The twisted and deformed leaves have stopped and it seems to be growing normal again. Will be transplanting to a 3 gallon this weekend and leaving it in the 3 gallon for 2-3 weeks. Then final transplant into a 5 gallon, and then light schedule flipped to 12 and 12 to get this babygirl flowering.
LA Confidential has been a very easy going grow. She has been very happy with anything I have given her, especially during flower. I was not sure if she was going to be any good or not during veg as she was growing a little bit weird and twisted. As she grew though, she started to shape up into a nice bushy dense plant that was a joy to grow overall. Colas aren't the biggest, but are very hard and dense, packed with calyxes and trichomes. Very potent smell coming off this babygirl...almost burns your nose hairs. Also very resinous, with a very sticky feel to them.
Finishing up with some nice purples and yellows.
