This is week 1 of the veg phase. Also introduced Remo line of nutrients to the plant for the first time.
Plant looks good but it’s got some stretching. I lowered the lights to 20”, down from 30”.
The plant has continued to grow well. It grew 2 new nodes and about another 2.5” over the last 7 days. I raised the lights a little today to maintain that 20” distance. Node spacing is good also.
This week was really warm in Western Massachusetts with temps outside getting up to ~95 degrees on severa days. This caused the temps inside the tent get up to the mid 80’s. The AC in the basement has been working OT and I’m able to get the temps in the area down to about 79 degrees. I’ve put frozen water bottles in the reservoir to cook down the temp at the root zone.
All that said, this little plant is resilient. It hasn’t shown any negative reactions to the higher-than-normal tent temps. No water change this week. I topped off with 3 cups of PH’d RODI water.
The plant has doubled in size since last week. It has a nice green color and the nodes are nicely, evenly stacked. The humidity is a little lower than I’d like. I have a humidifier but I haven’t put it in the tent yet because the plant seems to be growing just fine at this humidity level.
I plan on topping at the 6th node. The plant is on it’s 6th node now, but it was still small so I’ll give it a few more days until I top it.
No water change this week. I topped the reservoir with water. Plant has continued to show good growth. No major concerns at this time.
The plant was topped during the week and has recovered.
No concerns with the plant. I introduced LST to the plant. No major concerns with this plant. She is quickly outgrowing the tent. She will be moved into my flowering tent with the next week or so.
