Cloudy autos

Hey y'all! Long time no see! I've had a few grows since my last postings here, I've had a lot of life happen and haven't been able to keep up in a way I did my first grow. Well, I have a tent with 2 photos going right now (not going to document as they're already half way through they're journey and 3 weeks into flower). I've been really getting into Autoflowers recently, and just ran a tent of Mephisto that I just harvested. This time around I'm doing things a bit differently in hopes for a bigger yield. i got a variety going here, and the Landysh is actually a clone I took from the mother plant flowering right now! She's in a 3 gallon. Trying to decide on if I want to pot a King's Kush clone as well. We shall see. ANYWAY This grow!! Growing in Fox Farm Cultivation Nation 70/30, amended with DTE Vegetable Garden and blended Roots Bloom Terp Tea into the lower of the soil mix for later flowering. I'm growing half mephisto, half others. Forgotten Cookies, Grape Walker Kush (both gifted from a wonderful friend) in 5 gal pots, Seedsman Strawberry Cheesecake in a 3 gal pot (I ran last, but stunted her growth starting her in a pringles can then fucking up the transplant. She smokes great, full of peppery terps i LOVE it. I gave a seed to my friend and her buds were absolutely gorgeous. Wanna do it right this time), and after going to a convention I bought some Ethos Planet of the Grapes autoflower beans! POTG just germinated, and has been put into a peat pellet and into her 5 gallon home. I've used soil amendments as I put the soil in the pots and am feeding them straight water for the next week and a half before i switch to light nutrients. I'll list the nutrients I will be using here, I won't be putting how much cuz lol i'm not yet but this is just so y'all can see! I wanna do this proper this time. My goal with this grow is to get at least 2 zips per plant and I definitely think I am capable of it. I've fallen short all my other grows, and I've learned a lot so now I'm ready to implement! I'm thinking of reversing the Landysh to pollinate GWK as well, once again we'll see. I plan on topping, leaf tucking (my first time doing this), lollipopping, and hoping to somewhat manifold if i can get it right with these autos.

Hey! Honestly it's been about 10 days since I planted all these girls. Not a big change, BUT! Forgotten Cookies had a twin sister that bloomed underneath her! I separated her and put her in a pellet while she gains her roots. Going to get some soil and put her in a 3 gallon pot. I'm considering using STS on her to pollinate the Landysh clone I got going right now. We shall see!

Hey! Sorry for the delay in getting back to y'all, was out of town for a weekend and have been catching up before I leave for vacation this week! All the plants are starting to come up now. Planet of the Grapes and Strawberry Cheesecake are both a bit small, but they're starting to get a bit bigger now. Grape Walker Kush is TALL and lanky! Wasn't like this at all the last time I ran her, maybe it's because she's in a 5 gallon pot now too. The Forgotten Cookies is starting to get bushier, she's short just how I like my girls. Much easier to manage! I've topped just about all of them except for the POTG and Strawberry Cheesecake. Waiting for the next node to top them. They're all looking fantastic. I started introducing nutrients into their feed, you can see above what I started adding. Clones always grow weird when I plant them I'm not used to it lol. the Landysh clone is doing super well. very thick leaves, just like when she was vegging. I've topped her as well. I cannot wait to finish up the mother plant right now. Bonus photo of my flowering tent right now; King's Kush from Greenhouse Seed Company (she's 4'10 tall! in a 6' tent! I had to tie her branches down the light burn stunted her growth on the top colas a bit) and the mother Landysh plant from VIP Seeds. Very dark, very pungent yet sweet. Feels like a gassy purple cheese. Those should finish up in 4-6 weeks!

Hey Y'all! Got a new update! I kinda messed up on GWK and FC and snapped off a branch on each while trying to do LST. GWK's stem and main stalk is already pretty thick so I can't do the LST the way I'd like to. She's gonna get tall. The last grow I had of her she was in a 3gl pot, much different phenotype she was way shorter. Super interesting! FC is consistent, she looks just like how she did when I first grew her, I'm just hoping her bud development is a lot thicker than the first time. Been doing light defoliation and cutting lower nodes on all the plants. Planet of the Grapes is finally getting bigger! Doing some LST tying her internodal branches to the fan leave branch to keep them straight. Tried that with GWK it didn't go well lol. I topped all of them as well! Strawberry Cheesecake I'm realizing just isn't really the best genetics. She's in a 3 gal pot this time (I stunted her by growing her in a pringles can for 3 weeks then putting her in a 5gal pot) is pretty small, compact growing slow compared to the Ethos and Mephisto genetics. Not to mention, the Landysh clone is EXPLODING. I can't wait to grow her out again. I'm trying to figure out which I want to breed; I wanted to do a breeding experiment and pollinate two autoflowers. I was thinking maybe reversing Planet of the Grapes to pollinate GWK. I'm thinking about it but I'm not sure. I think I'm gonna pop a Lemon Berry Candy OG Auto bean, and use her to pollinate one of the girls. We shall see! I'm thinking of picking up some more auto beans because I definitely want to try to cross some auto's. Trying to debate on what to grow for my next Photo experiment! Thinking of popping this Orange Blossom Fizz seeds from Darkhorse (Got to talk to Jason and he gave me a bunch of advice on what to breed these studs with) and pollinating a King's Kush from Greenhouse and a Maui Waui as well. We'll see what the future holds! I know my auto tent is becoming too small for my 5 girls in there! My bigger tent the girls are flowering, Landysh got at least 3 weeks left and KK got about 5-6 I believe I could be off. Would y'all like me to make a separate diary for them as well? Let me know! It's been easier to keep up with temps and the history of the temps and humidity through an app i use. I use myLumii Lights, off amazon. It has an app where I can control the light cycle, and it'll show me the recorded temps and humidity at all times. It's so neat!

Hey Y'all! I know it's been a minute, a lot has happened. So, I was gearing up to move, start a new job, and one of my close friends was killed. It's been a rough 6 weeks for me. I've really only been on autopilot for my plants, GWK split right down the middle stalk while moving. I used some molasses and taped her back together, she's been going crazy. Forgotten Cookies is gonna need some more time, same with Strawberry Cheesecake and Planet of the Grapes. Looked into the recommendations by the genetics companies for growing the plants, and I decided to keep Strawberry Cheesecake in a different tent because she needs 18/6. POTG's nugs are very small, sticky and smelly though. Realized she needed 20/4 light, not 24/0 lol. So I'm changing that tent to 19/5 in hopes it helps. Dealt with a bit of pH fluctuation, I caught it early and flushed the next two feedings with FloraKleen. I used about 30mL each flush with the gallon of water I use to water them, and it seemed to have helped a lot as the leaves on GWK and SC stopped turning yellow. I just defoliated a bunch of leaves on Forgotten Cookies and GWK as well today before these pics. Grape Walker Kush has mainly cloudy trichomes, I'll take another pic of her early next week with the trichomes. Going to start flushing her after this next feeding as it will be about 70 or so days coming up next week. Going to give her another 10-14 days while flushing to thicken up a bit then chop her down early November. Forgotten Cookies probably needs another 2-3 weeks before I start checking trichomes, as a lot of her pistils are white and she seems to still be thickening up. Going to be checking the same on POTG and begin flushing if I see mainly cloudy trichomes.
