Germinated directly in root riot cubes and 100% success.
I’ll be transplanting these into 25L autopots on 30/08/21 and hand feeding for 2 weeks before the resivour is switched on.
I have used 0.5ml per litre of emerald harvest a&b for the first 2 weeks of the seedlings and will be moving upto 1ml per litre when transplanting.
Photos taken at the end of week 1 after transplanting into the 25litre pots.
All plants are currently looking the same height and very healthy
Conditions have been good apart from a 3 day heat wave taking the room temp to 31 degrees.
Photos taken on the last day of week 2.
Topped 5 out of 8 on this day as the other 3 are a little shorter that the others so I’ll wait for 1 extra node before topping.
Removed the bottom node from the 5 that have been topped.
Due to outside temperatures I’ve had to have 2x lights at 250w and 2x lights at 400w (and all fans on full power)
Still hand feeding at the moment until the Roos base is good enough to turn on the auto pots. Probably in the next few days.
All new twin shoots coming through after topping last week and I think 2 more weeks of veg before flowering.
Auto pots are all on now and 100L resivour is feeding the babies.
Added some predator sachets to each plant due to where the room is situated and I’ve noticed a few webs in the room. Probably be being paranoid but better to be safe than sorry.
High temperatures have been a problem over the last week hitting 30+ degrees.
The pics were taken at the end of week 4. All plants are about 55-60cm tall apart from the white strawberry which is 70cm and is looking like it’s going to be the biggest yielder out of the lot but we’ll see.
Also I’ve topped the white strawberry twice (for 2 reasons) 1st reason being it was getting too tall and would have off set the light from the plant next to it and 2nd reason just to see if I made a difference in yield from topping once.
Lights have all been on 400w throughout the whole veg cycle as it’s been to warm to get them upto 600w.
I’ll be flipping them to flower at 5 weeks vegging as I’m worried about the height in this room as I usually veg for 6-7 weeks.
First week on 12/12 and the plants have gone crazy. These nutrients are by far the best I’ve used in 13 years growing, the difference in a week has been insane and the Plants have never looked so healthy.
I’ve added some rock resonator at 1ml per litre, never tried this stuff before but heard good things. I’m gonna keep it the same dosage throughout the cycle.
End of week 2 flowering and the height is becoming an issue for 2 plants. I’ve had to bend the main stems to keep a good distance from the bulbs.
I have 8x natural air purifiers hanging in the room now. These are basically made from the same stuff that’s in the carbon filters. They produce no odour and do not affect the plants at all. Very good tip if your worried about getting rid of excess smell.
Also I’ve fitted an Ona filter (with an Ona block inside) on the extractor ducting. This is also to clean the air again that’s been through the filter.
8x plants are currently drinking 200litres of water per week between them, So had to order some extra nutrients.
Conditions are perfect and so far no issues.
@Kali420Autoflower, thanks for the advice. I’ve been growing for 13 years and I’m always trying new techniques for more yield and flavour.
I have grown this using a new method and nutrients. I usually average 15 to 20 ounces per plants. So please check the end result 👊🏽
