I always germinate by putting the seed in water and tapping it after a few hours, if it sinks to the bottom it goes right into a rapid rooter. Tear a little piece of the rooter cube off to cover the hole, keep moist until the seed sprouts.
This was my first time under the Spider Farmer 1000 vs 2000. I set my light to the same setting as usual which was a little too low, and she got a little leggy, but no big deal. Now I know for next time and the node spacing is looking better already.
This baby wanted to grow fast.
For my next grow I'll probably take one picture of the roots as well just so people can see the size vs the growth. This is where she really started to take off roots are in the reservoir and things are starting to happen.
Jack's Nutrients never lets me down, I PH with GH PH Up/DN, and add Hydroguard. that's it.
This is my first Mephisto and my second Autoflower. People say not to top them, but I figured I'd give this one a shot versus just doing a ton of LST. She responded so well to the topping I was surprised. New branches started taking over almost imeadiatly Never had a plant respond this well to topping, but it's only my fourth time ever topping so not a lot of experience to refernce yet. Guess we'll see the results next week.
Going to start LST at the end of this week, just waiting for the new tops to get a little bigger. This 3BOG is just thriving. I've got the light set at about 40% ten to twelve inches from the canopy. Right now I'm just adjusting the light as the plant grows, don't want to increase the intensity too much beyond fifty percent before flower.
As usual Jack's Nutrients are killing it.
My first grow under and SF1000 and it's going great.
(Started LST early, and she's been taking it like a champ, already had to move my placements three times because she's growing so fast.
So this is the start of week four and I guess that means we could start to see pistils forming at any time. I've really pushed myself this time to get a nice even canopy, but the 3BOG made it east. This plant handled topping like a champ, LST was zero issues, and I started clipping my first few fan leaves and not a single bit of slowdown. I'm really excited to see this girl make the flip and what comes out of her.
The hint of watermelon from her stems is unreal. Hoping this scratches my watermelon zkittliz itch.
