Don't want to bore with alot of veg pics. Nothing changed in last month other than growth. Removed screen from zkittlez #2 because the pheno wasn't growing any taller at all, just bushier. Much more indica dom than zkittlez #1, and very different overall. Almost think they mixed up a seed. Every part of #2 is different than #1
Everything is moving along smoothly. Got some aphids moving in, so ordered some ladybugs. Introduce them next week. Smell on zkittlez #1 is getting loud. Very skunky. Sunset smell is fantastic. Very fruity almost exactly like starburst candy. Gelato, and zkittlez #2 have no smell yet, but by very far have the best resin production, and bud size.
Going strong. Released 1500 ladybugs and 2 days later I can't find a single aphid. Big thanks to those gals for the help. Shurb is smelling fantastic. A bit weak still, but stronger every day. Can't wait to walk out one morning with my coffee and get slapped in the face with that smell. Loosing some foliage in center of plants dark area due to mag def I believe, so will up that a tad, and see what happens. Not much work needed on these plants, just feed every 3 days and wait. Kinda boring.
Still smooth sailing . Smells are developing very nicely. Zkittlez #1 has a slight Vienna sausage note to the smell. Not sweet in any way. Sunset smells the best. Pretty much exactly like a bag of starburst candy. No skunky earth notes at all, just straight fruity candy. Zkittlez #1 is far more sticky than the rest, even though it's the lowest trichome producer of the lot. Touching it will leave fingers sticky for a while. Colors should be coming out any day, as temps at night are always below 55f now. Only a few weeks left. Gonna start flush on zkittlez #2 next week as most pistils are brown now
Everything is sailing along effortlessly. The zkittlez absolutely hates anything over 1.5 or 2 ml per gal in my flower nutes. Showing mild burn signs at 2 ml per gal. The sunset shurb is needing a bit around 2.5 per gal, and the gelato is a hungry one doing fine at 3 ml per gal. Smells are very strong, but not really sweet. Zkittlez #1 has a creamy note, but followed by strong deli meat? Not sweet, and the gelato is more a skunky mocha kinda coffee, with notes of pine, and sage... sunset shurb is 100% starburst fruit candy, with no ganja smell at all. Just pure sweet fruit candy. It has the lowest trichome count of them all but is most def the most eye appealing of the bunch with the biggest nugs, and the stickiest feel. Can wait. I had to harvest 2 colas from zkittlez 2 due to a tiny spot of bud rot. About a half oz. And boy is she sleepy. Took bong tokes 4 times, and passed out within 15 mins every time. Still has a few weeks, but #2 is going to finish 1st by far, followed by #1. Sunset looks like it's gonna be awhile due to its heavy sativa mom, no dried pistils on her at all yet
Started flush on all but the sunset. A small amount of purple showing on zkittlez#2 but only on leaves despite temps at night in the 30s now. Shurb still has 2-4 weeks, as barely showing browning on pistils last few days. Gonna harvest zkittlez#2 in a few days probably. About 75% milky, but no amber yet. Zkittlez#1 will be a few days to a week behind that. Smell of combined greenhouse strains are insane. I can smell it in my house now, and opening the greenhouse door almost makes me gag. Went to grocery store after working in there for 30 mins, and 5 people said some dumb shit about the smell coming off my clothing. I am used to outdoor grows where the air calms it down a bit, not 150 square feet of confined space concentrating it. Luckily I have chill neighbors.
