I was having bad luck with germination. Well, I am officially back to growing. I have Purple Punch Auto and Spiritual Punk both growing right now. Both have amazing taproots. Once they both are fully sprouted, I will be updating with pictures. 8/16/2021: The two finally started to show their leaves. They are looking healthy and just all around great. I prepped the soil by giving it a bacterial dominant tea with yeast in it. the legumes'' and companion plants are doing their jobs wonderfully. I know when they are transplanted, the two ladies will love their forever home. 8/17/2021: The two are looking green and healthy. The pot is officially ant free, and the micro/macro organisms are loving the environment. The Inkbird humidity stat is a lifesaver when it comes to holding humidity and temp. The compost tea has seemed to have helped all the plants in the pot. Will post pictured with the pot in the next few days, not sure if I want to hold off until I transplant into the pot. The excitement ensues. 8/19/2021: Transplanted both seedlings that are in Root Riot cubes. I sprinkled the holes with Great White and the top (after covering) with Recharge and mist sprayed the seedlings in. I adjusted the light to 24" from the top of the plants, and lowered the intensity to 75%. Microbes in the soil are looking great! I see beneficial insects roaming around, and as I was able to see some beneficial nematodes poking out of the soil as well. My miniature ecosystem is officially thriving! 8/20/2021: Both plants are standing straight up and looking very healthy. The plants received a full watering with water that has been aerating for a few days. Don't know if it does anything, but, I still want to see if it does. Tomorrow, I'll be adding amendments to the soil. Nematodes are still alive and kicking as well. 8/22/2021: I started misting the top of the soil to allow for the microorganisms to continue to break down the amendments. I am planning on continuing this practice every couple to few days. All beneficial microbes are thriving, plants are an immaculate shade of green. The plants are starting to show their second set of sun leaves growing out of the top. Week one almost done. RH: 78%-82% Temp: 80° F

8/23/2021: Today is day one of veg. Trimmed the peppermint companion plant to keep it from going wild. All plants are a great shade of green, and look extremely healthy. Had to uproot some cover crop as well, they were too close to my ladies. So far, everything looks great! 8/26/2021: Adjusted the Humidistat to have the RH hover around 75%. Both plants are looking increasingly healthy. Soil is still holding moisture really well, so I will be skipping a water day and will water Friday instead of Saturday. 8/27/2021: Watered my plants with water that had molasses, vitamin c and recharge. I sprinkled in some Big 6 from Build a Soil. Everything is looking happy and healthy. Keeping the temp at 80° and the RH around 75%. Cant wait to see how they look in the morning. 8/30/2021: I trimmed the peppermint and thyme since they were getting a little big. I'm full up on both herbs, so instead, I put them back into the pot to decompose back into the soil. Chem Dawg and Spiritual Punk are both doing absolutely amazing. Start of week 2 tomorrow.

8/31/2021: It is the start of week two. The trimmed cover crop is breaking down nicely. The ChemDawg OG seems to be taking off when it comes to growth. The Spiritual Punk is looking great as well. Being a photo, she's just taking her time, soaking in the light. She seems content. The environment is moving along, the soil life is living. Life is good. 9/2/2021: Watered today with vitamin c, bubbled water. I also added some humus to the top of the pot, just sprinkled it on. The soil is holding moisture like a champ. ChemDawg is just exploding in growth. She's being short and stout, but is outdoing herself. Spiritual punk is starting to look branchy, just like its genetics. She's looking happy in her home and is starting to show more leg. Stay tuned. 9/4/2021: trimmed the cover crop down some. ChemDawg is just exploding like usual. Spiritual Punk is looking very hardy. Both are happy and healthy. Both will yield a great amount. 9/5/2021: Put some potato peelings on top of the soil and covered all the cover crop and peelings with straw. Will be making an amino acid an yucca drench tomorrow with some bacteria to give everything a small boost. Color, growth rate, everything is looking amazing. I can see these ladies are going to be flawless. 9/6/2021: What an amazing week! They grew so much in such a short amount of time. Today, I did a light water with a bacteria dominated tea with no compost. On top of the straw, I sprinkled some old mushroom substrate and some Mykos for mycelium growth. After doing just that, I noticed the leaves got a healthy shade of green and just came to life. Here's to the end of week 2 and to the beginning of week 3.

9/7/2021: Here's the start of the new week. Everything is looking up, green and just amazing. The smells coming from my tent are phenomenal! 9/8/2021: Took a few pictures of the ladies. They look absolutely gorgeous! This is honestly my best grow yet and I couldn't be happier. 9/11/2021: Started LST on both plants on the 9th. The Spiritual punk had a little HST done and it has recovered nicely. Yesterday, I took out my two small humidifiers to replace it with a swamp humidifier I built myself. It took 2 minutes for the RH to go from 50% to 75.5%. After almost 24 hours, the RH has been holding steady. The only issue I am finding, is the vent drips, Though, I may leave it to keep my pot moist. I shall see. Then, today, I continued to train both plants, I will be topping the spiritual punk later today. 9/12/2021: I had to make a bacterial tea with some mosquito bits to kill off fungus gnats. It does work like a charm, but seeing the aftermath, it’s going to be a pain to clean. Will be getting predatory insects later.

9/15/2021: Amended the soil yesterday in preparation of watering 3/4 of a gallon of water with some silica, yucca, amino acids and Recharge. Watered in the amendments nicely, giving the leaves of all the plants a nice small mist of the water solution. All plants are looking healthy and vibrant. Some very nice genetics indeed. 9/17/2021: Didn't do anything really. Just kept training the ladies. They are doing wonderfully though, so I just had to share them.

9/20/2021: The ladies have gotten big enough that I had to put the trellis net up to start spreading them out. They are looking extremely healthy and are loving the environment inside the tent. They adjust very fast as well. Watered with a gallon of aerated water as well, just to keep the soil moist. The soil is holding moisture amazingly well. I am watering at a minimum, once a week. Max, twice. 9/23/2021: Adjusted the light today. ChemDawg decided to grow overnight and was only 12" from the light. So, I adjusted the light to 18" above the canopy. ChemDawg is officially in flower, I'm starting today as day 1 in flower for her. 9/25/2021: Made a compost tea with Roots Organic Bloom and copper sulfate. They are looking amazing!! ChemDawg is stretching and stacking very nicely. As for the spiritual punk, I can see why they named it that. It's not a fast grower, but not slow by all means, either. It's like it can tell that the ChemDawg is an auto, and is just giving it space, happily.

9/27/2021: Cleaned up the ladies skirts today. Defoliation was absolutely necessary today, especially on my peppermint plant. That one is trying to sneak into the middle of the pot. The ladies are doing absolutely amazing! I could not be happier with a grow. I've learned so much with this grow, and she's by far my first. 9/29/2021: Changed the VPD of the tent, since the ChemDawg is in flower. Changed the RH to 65% and Temp to 85° F. They have responded in a very positive manner. 10/1/2021: This part took a full 48 hours to complete. I decided to finish my LST with ChemDawg. She's throwing out a plethora of bud sites. Since I want to maximize yield, at the same time, terpene and medicinal properties, I decided to make a compost tea for the flower cycle, that included some Langbeinite and banana peels that I berried under the soil once completed. I used that as my watering for the week. I then decided to hone in on my VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) to make sure they were receiving the ample amount of light, humidity and heat. After monitoring for another 24 hours after giving the tea and working on the VPD, the plants seem to have taken off even more. The bud sites are starting to thicken and stack faster than I had anticipated.

10/6/2021: Trimmed the skirt of ChemDawg OG. She's in Day 14 of flower. Spiritual Punk is starting to grow past the ChemDawg and is developing some very beautiful purple stems that should pass on to the leaves or even the flowers. Everything is stacking very nicely. 10/8/2021: Gave the plants some compost tea yesterday, just to give them a boost. I also started spraying with STS solution to create more seeds of this plant. The growth and the way she's stacking, I couldn't let her go without getting some more seeds. The plants are looking amazing and healthy. I will be making a fermented plant solution this weekend, I will keep you up to date on that. Spiritual Punk is wanting to get into the flower action as well. I will give her until week 10 before flipping her into flower.

10/14/2021: I fed the plants a good blooming tea. I am prepping the Spiritual Punk to flip into flower this week. They are starting to give off a nice fragrant smell, there's no deficiencies and they're looking amazing! More to come later this week. 10/16/2021: Today starts day one of flower for Spiritual Punk. I can't wait to see how she does. 10/21/2021: Amended the pot today, as well as made a compost tea. For the amendments, I did some Gas mix, old mushroom substrate, Humus, copper sulfate and worm castings. For the compost tea: Langbeinite, Craft Blend, BioLive, Alfalfa Meal, gypsum, Neem Seed Meal, soil activator, and some great white. Had a slight magnesium deficiency that I had to take care of. The plants are looking extremely healthy and very perky. I trimmed some leaves from both plants as well. I lowered my RH to 55% and my tempt to 75° F.
