I am using local tap water which has a pH8 & a ppm of 50.
I am setting the ph to 6 but I am finding that within 36hrs the ph rises to 8.5.
Yes this is normal. It takes awhile to get the bucket to stay on point. You can use something with humic acid in it like floricious plus and it will stabilize your pH for you. BUT it will also stain your roots brown. Set your pH to 5.5 let it drift to 6.5 and check the pH everyday and set it back to 5.5 over a week or 2 you'll get it to stabilize without floricious plus or anything else. I honestly did a comparison and floricious plus helps the pH alot, but I hate how brown it stains your roots. Stay on top of it and adjust it every 24 hours without and humic acid to regulate it, most of it's in organic form and it's just dark stuff. Also make sure your letting your tap water sit for 24 hours to evaporate chlorine or you'll never get the pH to stop fluctuating

Setting my solution @ ph5.5, after 24hrs it rises to ph7.5.
I noticed some browning/staining of the roots. I did some research and thought it might be the start of root rot. I added 10ml of 6% hydrogen peroxide. After 3 days it looks to be reversing the browning affect.
All in all I'm happy with how she looks.
btw I have named her Bettsy!!!

No you shouldn't top an auto. Some lst is ok. Your system for veg should be set at 5.8 for veg cycle and 6.2 or 6.3 for when their flowering. Your ec level for an auto sits about 600 ppm 1.2 ec and that is pret near their limit on feed. With photos you can take them to 800 ppm 1.6 ec. But autos don't like as much food as photos. Cheers

Bottom leaves have some blemishes appearing, but I think this is due to feed solution that has dripped onto the leaves.

A few strange blemishes appearing on a few leaves.
She looked a but stressed over the last 4-5 days. I re adjusted everything and she is looking better. Just showing the 1st signs of preflowering. I added 0.5gm Great White powder into my solution.
Having trouble keeping the daytime internal temp below 33c during about 5 hours of the day

Had some great growth in the last week.
Flushed for 24hrs with flashclean/floraclean.
Adjusted ph to 6.7

After having some good growth. I made the decision and took a chance and fimmed her about 10days ago.
This has given me a fairly even canopy without any LST. I also think I would have run out of height if I didn't fim. I have only got another 30cm left to raise the led.
Been growing vigorously for the last week or so
Hopefully she will stop growing soon as I only have about 20cm of height.
Going through almost 2ltrs of nutrients every 24hr
This last week I have been lazy, not checking my levels daily. There hasn't been any emergencies. She is looking healthy but!!! I do think she should be fattening up quicker than she is. I have literally run out of height with a couple of Buds 2 or 3 inches off of LEDs. I didn't expect the stretch to be so (strechy). I have left it too late to to any major LSTing. I would have expected the buds to be much more developed by now considering I have only 3weeks left if u go by the clock. In 4days I will give her a flush with Terra Aquatica FlashClean for 48hrs then switch to Terra Aquatica Final Part for the last 14(or so)days.
All going sort of well?? I was expecting alot more weight by this stage but she ain't done yet and could surprise me.
On the 13thOct(today) I am flushing for 24hrs with T.A. FlashClean 2ml/L. Then changing to T.A FinalPart 5ml/L for the last 2weeks of growth.
I am losing about 6 or 7 leaves everyday, I know this is a normal process, just seems to be dropping more than other grows. This is my 1st Auto and also my 1st DWC, so maybe this is normal.
I am starting to get some rusty spots appearing on some of the leaves. I better look into what's going on. If anyone has any theories on my brown spot issue, please do. Photo attached of browning rust marks. I am thinking my Light is way too close but I am at my max height.
