Have noticed that something has attacked my babies. One plant died. One has its stem broken (fixed with straw) and one has a chewed on leaf. I suspected cut worm. Put crushed clam shell around the stems but as you can see the leaf has still been attacked. Any ideas what to do, what it is? On the last photo you can see the leaves turning yellowish... not sure what that is either.

Hi there! Sad news... If it's caterpillars or inchworms, "Caterpillar BT Spray" & "Spinosad Products" are both safe & organic ways to get rid of them. If you suspect slugs or snails, a beer-trap would be a good way to attract them away. You need to mix some flour in beer in a shallow container (split a yoghourt pot in its height) and push it into the ground, so the invaders can fall into. In both cases I'd recommend to put a larger plastic bottle (5L) around your babies. Finally, you may consider planting some flowers & aromatics to attract everything away from your babies. By multiplying your approaches, you'll win this fight and be rewarded soon ;-) Hope this helps, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!

Hello, for me it looks like a snail attack. If you want to avoid snails then dig a few cups filled half with beer in the ground. they really love it.the crawl into it and die. there is a chemical solution too i dont know it in english " schneckenkorn" that kills them. those are amll korns with poson. But i prefer beer.

One of my girls has been chewed on by some caterpillars but seemed to have bounced back. I lost two others due to caterpillar attacks. Hope for no more setbacks.

Lost a few buds to bud rot - had a stretch of rainy, humid weather. Also had spider mites on a few buds... gonna chop them within the next few days.
