Greenislandfr The Gorilla Zkittlez started its growth in a 400W tent for 3 weeks. I asked a friend to start the growth in his tent to see the difference with my other females that I started indoors. The difference is really incredible; I think the variety has something to do with it, but starting the growth in a tent and finishing outdoors is really very beneficial for the yield and does not negatively affect the quality at all, on the contrary.

Greenislandfr This week there was an explosion in growth of at least 5cm and up to 15cm, I don't remember exactly but it was impressive, she really loved the mega dose of nutrients I gave her. The bad weather forced me to use solid fertilizers because with 1 day of sunshine for 6 days of rain, watering and fertilizing was a hassle. The flowering has started, it's important to note that for what's next.

Greenislandfr Cut the apex after the false flowering and yes that was the surprise, it went back into growth 😅 maybe because of the stress from the climate and the late apex cut. Well, we'll take the opportunity to defoliate and tie all that up.

Greenislandfr The solid fertilizers did the job, I did a defoliation and literally stripped it bare without mercy, it looked like a cross at the spot where there are deaths on the roads. But it has regained strength, the supermix and bat guano should be mandatory in every session. More seriously, I kept the last 3 levels with 25% foliage, the trunk loved it and exploded. I'm now going to tighten the branches as much as possible to shape them, then relax and give myself some slack because I have a lot of wind at home, around 15-20 km/h, sometimes it goes up to 50 km/h. The flowering (the real one) is also starting, however, I've noticed a lot of leaves with 3 branches, even 2 or 1. Signs of intense stress, I think due to the climate or me because I dose the fertilizers a lot, I find, but at the same time I have no deficiencies or over-fertilization, so I keep the rhythm, but the growth is crazy, the stems are branching more and more every day.

Greenislandfr Excellent recovery of the foliage as you can see it’s a real bush, the trunk is in the shape of a "T". I tied the main branches and as a result, at least twenty secondary branches have formed a mass as if I had done a SCROG. This variety is surprising... I will also pull the trunk from the bottom to prevent it from breaking in the middle because given the mass of the foliage, I don’t know if the trunk will support all the weight.

Greenislandfr I'm really surprised 😲 the trunk has suffered, it's the 2nd time it's split in half. This time it's the cat that wanted to jump in; I don't really understand, it must have loved the plant and had a blast, but I have some major damage because of it. I repaired it as best as I could with aloe vera gel for healing and propolis (beeswax) to prevent fungal issues. By the way, the propolis seems to be working; I treat by watering when I see it's going to rain +2 days at a rate of 1.5ml per liter (between 69 and 99% humidity generally this August). The buds are sticky and swelling up thanks to the bactobloom used before the propolis, of course, and the Green Sensation from Plagron. I readjusted the flowering nutrients; I switched to Alga Bloom. The plant had a mini deficiency because the Top Bloom from Top Crop is really powerful 😂. The smell is light but not overwhelming; it's a Zkittlez/Gorilla Glue scent, so with top notes of sugary sweetness 🍬 and hints of pine/gas with a touch of coffee. I also installed a scrog net that looks like nothing but is effective for airflow and keeping the buds well-aerated since they’re going to be dense and heavy. I’ll have to keep a close eye on fungal attacks. As for pests like thrips, I've never had a single bite on the Gorilla Zkittlez.

Greenislandfr 7th week of flowering, Application of propolis against the onset of botrytis that started last week, the gorilla must have been infected since the trunk split in two. I took the necessary precautions, for now, no other signs of botrytis, it seems under control, the product seems effective. I bought a fan just for her, I hope to help her and not spread the plague to my other plants..
