Found this seed in a half ounce I got from my local dispensary. Put her in a glass of water on Thursday and by Friday evening the shell had cracked open and a tap root was making its way out. I used water that had a ph of 6.6 and added a tsp per gallon of fox farms plant nutrient that has only potassium. After she began to sprout in water I transferred her to a peat pellet that night where she fully germinated. She was transplanted today into a plastic cup with happy frog soil. In the next week's update I will be showing her in her new 5g home with her new, much stronger grow lights. I'm growing the WW along side some super skunk. That's in another diary. Happy growing!
Didn't do much this week for this girl besides water her and transplanted her to a 5g pot today. I'll add some pics of that next week I guess. She looks the same, just in a bigger pot. I'll keep everyone posted about what happens this week if anything. Thanks for reading!
Sorry for not updating sooner. I've been a bit busy. I've been giving her just water as of late because I believe the nitrogen got out of wack. She seems to be doing good though and is healthy. Growth has increased quite a bit since switching to the 6-2 light schedule. Basically it gets 18 hrs of light broken up into 3 parts with 2hrs of darkness in-between. My plants have been on this schedule since around a week ago, and the difference is noticeable. I plan to proceed with this schedule for the remainder of the veg cycle. Not much to note other than that. Thanks for reading!
What can I say other than for a free seed I found in my bag, I am very happy and impressed by her growth. She is doing fantastic! She's growing faster everyday and is healthy. Soon, I plan to top her. For now though I'm going to let her grow a little bit more. I feed her and my super skunk yesterday with some big bloom from fox farm. Up until then I had been flushing them due to a nitrogen issue. Those nutrients can be strong, so watch out and only add half of what they recommend. I had to learn that the hard way. Other than that and the new 6 on 2 off light schedule, not much new to say. I am fairly certain that the 6-2 light schedule has increased growth substantially. Anyway, thanks for reading and come back for the next installment!
