I am not disappointed with the results. Next time I will try 18/6 and compare results
So I've been running 20/4 lights on my autos... Alot of peeps run 18 and 6 and they look great... Should I switch? Is it bad to switch? I'm at 21 days. I do like the extra dark hours being in my bedroom and for power saving. First grow.
I depends on your growing conditions. If you're doing everything perfectly then you could literally give them 24 hours of light. But I highly doubt it unless you're a commercial grower. They don't require a dark period, but that is when these girls repair themselves. If you were totally healthy you'd do just fine with 4 hours of sleep because you're body doesn't really need to heal. But that's hardly the case in today's day and age because we get exposed to the world which we've been screwing up since the beginning. Growing indoors these girls don't get exposed to all the bad things in the world. You can control everything. But to fully answer your question I'd highly recommend 18/6 or 16/8 depending on your setup and skill set at this point my friend. Hope this helps!
i run 16/8 with auto and it work fine (check my purple kush CBD auto), i also once had an auto mixed with my photoperiod and so on runned it 12/12 and it also growed well (check my Hazeberry).
My concern is similar as yours i need to sleep, i have the extractor off at night cause it make too much noise to fall asleep well, that's why i run 16/8 with auto

I have been 20/4 all the way on current grow and I am very happy with my results with about a week or so to harvest on one and another 2-3 weeks on the other.
With autos, keep the cycle consistent to avoid stress, stick with 20/4 this time, try 18/6 next time and see what results you prefer - bearing in mind some swear by 24/0
Day 23 today. Week has been good so far. Switched light to a gixer 1000 seems to have a slightly better spectrum then the beelux-01 I have. Will probably run both for flower just not sure the othee plant will do much. So waiting. Also have both veg and bloom on now. As soon as I flicked it on they perked up and growth has been quick. Running a humidifier on 50% now. Trying to figure out how to maintain temps because the tent changes with the room so quickly. It's hot now and will be cold in winter. Have a carbon filter and inline fan havent used it yet though. The other plant needed cal mag and i heard it couldn't hurt so I also gave this one it and if anything she looked better after. Possibly start feeding next watering with general hydroponics flora series.Good week. Shes looking good.
Lots of growth. Lst is going great. The nutes were to much and have a few burnt tips. Only on about 2-3 fan leaves though. She smells great..been lowering light down to 22 above plant. I'm scared to keep pushing it though lolll
Lots of growth. Took a few fan leaves off that showed signs of cal mag dif. Been doing great since. Fed one time and the cal mag alone the other time. Half a gal between the both. Having to reposition my lst ties daily and leaf tuck. Bud sites are strong. Added small 8w led but it has good spectrum and also adding 120 ppfd. Over all good week. Just found another fan took it off. Last one for a bit.
Buds look great the new light is amazing. Have a little light burn. Had moved light down to 18 In and 75%. If anyone has any experience with this light please hit me up
I'm getting a little light burn on my auto. I have a vipraspectra xs2000 and I'm at 19in and 75% a little under 700ppfd. Anyone else with this light have any recommendations with height and dimmer percentage? And ppfd at week 8? I thought they could handle more at this age
Doesn't look like light burn, to me it seems she wants a little more nitrogen. But If you don't wanna up the nutes a little I would raise the lights to 24in
Yeah I’d be at least at 800 PPFD and optimally hovering around 1000 personally.
I always run 100% once in flower and adjust the height accordingly.
I don’t think you should be getting light burn from where you’re set up now. I also don’t believe light burn is as common as a lot of ppl would have you believe. Usually something else going on. That’s just my opinion tho, good luck!
