It'd be helpful to see the other plant you're comparing to.. and more info in general..
First off, Fox Farm Ocean Forest is very nutrient rich soil.
Autoflowers normally don't need as much nutrients as regular photoperiod plants - and I've had photoperiod plants that showed symptoms of too much nutrients when in ocean forest.. That makes me think maybe its too hot of a soil for your autos.
Also, you have to realize that with most seeds, especially autos - you may be growing the same strain, but each seed is a different expression of those strain genetics.
Say you bought a 5 pack of these seeds. A few may be vigorous growers, a few may be runts.. A few may thrive in the soil you chose, where as some may not..
Its unfortunate that breeders and vendors dont make that abundantly clear when you purchase seeds.. but each seed you grow is basically a roll of the dice.
As for advice moving forward.. Don't stress too much about it right now.. keep it going as it is. 300 PPFD is perfect for the stage of growth you are at but you will need closer to 500+ as the grow goes on. I personally keep my canopy at 900-1100 PPFD once flower comes around. Good luck
I think maybe genetics plays its part here. Werid leaves some deformed. Still slow. Cal mag helpped wish i would of used a little more with her. Still letting her run. Prob should of used the room for another girl.
Fed the time before about a week ago with Flora series. Then did watering last night with cal mag. Someone suggested it. Also had fungus gnats. Used DE and sticky traps. Haven't seem any since. She's just not doing well but then she'll push again. So I'm letting her run.. lst started 2 days ago. Stems turned purple.
Well.. it hasnt done to much. I fed alone and then fed only cal mag yesterday. I plucked the yellow leaves off and she's actually been kinda doing something. She's budding and I'm guessing not.going to produce much of anything. I figure I'll test nutes on her and also just do what I can to get her to do anything
Dude I love this site fast good informed replies appreactie. And sorry my other diary has the other plant. Couldn't figure out how to add two plants for one so did two sep. Awesome going to let her roll. I'm on a beelux-01 led from Amazon. It goes to around 900ppfd so hope she will be enough. And actully have 2 just running one atm. Want better lights and tent just not there $ wise yet!
