Used both a glass of water- followed by a damp paper towel. I’ll give them another day then put them in their substrate. I’m planning or trying out some coco- but probably just 2 of the 5 plants (assuming they all make it) 🌱
Update: sept 06- germinated 5 seeds. Only 3 sprouted. 2 will be in soil- and I’ll do one in coco to see what it’s like as a substrate
3/5 seeds broke the surface. 2 in soil. And one in coco 🤷♀️ we’ll have to see.
One of the soil girls flopped over. I surrounded her with dry soil and she’s standing on her own again. But shes looking kinda yellow. Let’s see if she makes it
One of the seedlings didn’t make it. So now I’ve got two. One in soil and one in coco. This will be interesting. Popped a few other varieties to fill the tent. Don’t want to wast all that space. They are also in the tent with a flowering photoperiod- who should have been done by now- but she’s not 🙃
One plant in coco- small but I’m not worried about it
The second plant in soil is much bigger- but has some weird deformation where she just stopped having a main stem. We’ll see. If the lateral branch get nice and strong it could be ok- I’ve just never had a plant “self top” or whatever 🌱
Both plants have received a bit of lst. I’m loving these bending chip things that I got. They really open the plant up to light and have basically doubled my dry harvest amounts-
These two girls are progressing slowly- but I’m able to change their light cycle a bit since my giant photoperiod is no longer in the tent. That said im hoping they pick up a little growth before they are in official flower. The soil freak is growing faster then her coco sister. Interesting observation as im experimenting with coco for the first time 🌱
I’m learning that coco is a full time job and maybe I’ll try it again in a year or so, but I’ll definitely be running my next batch in soil.
The soil mutant is looking worse and worse- and the coco girls budding but not growing. This is definitely a tent full of janky misfits
Both plants are still chugging along. In the same unfortunate condition they were in last week. Coco girl looks a bit Closer to the end- just based on pistol color and bed shape.
They just keep on trucking. No matter how horrible the leaves look the buds are looking amazing. Gonna keep my eyes on the trichomes and once I’m seeding some fogging I’ll hit them with water for a few days- 🌱
Updating these girls a day early this week. They’ve been receiving ph’ed water and I heading into the dark for a bit before the big trim. Not my biggest harvest amounts, but definitely a learning experience all around.
The coco girl made it to the end, and I have a feeling there’s a lot more bud hidden under the leaves. Her buds seem dense and are a very dark purple
Soil sister also has tight buds- but are completely different in both shape and color. She’s got a bit less leaves so I’m hoping for a quick and easy trim once the time comes.
@amsterdammarijuanaseeds, thanks! Both plants have been a little troublesome- but that’s definitely on me- my first coco attempt, and a weird, but fruitful mutant. 🌱
Hi, I found your plants re looking happy and beautiful. Happy because they have there "grayed" leafes. The yellow ones, still on. Like in nature. Beautiful they're because... They re beautiful.
