A seguir creciendo 💪
Hi everyone, here we go with third week news!
- This week I have watered once with just water and vitamins. Next week I will add Big Roots again.
- Gorilla Glue plants drink much more water than their sisters so I'm irrigating with 500ml/2 days each one and 350ml for the rest of them.
- I have decided to stop applying the CO2 tablets in the humidifier because I have read that it is not very useful.
Bad new of the week:
- I cut a small piece of Moby Dick #2 leaf accidentally while I was cleaning the pots :(
- Auto Satellites of Apex Seeds died :(
Good news of the week:
- We start to train it with LST and they are responding so good! :)
-Girl Scout Cookies #3 is growing so good again :)
We keep going with the grow! I wish you HappyWeeds for all!
Cheers!
Hi guys.
This week was very hard:
- Yellowing leaves.
- Run off EC levels at 9 (crazy).
- 2 and a half hard days flushing (maaany times).
- LST is going well.
- Run off pH around 6.5 (I can't get lower yet).
- Plants looks like better after flush.
- Moby Dick Auto (GB) start smell (sooo yummy)
- Next week inverse osmosis filter will be instaled (nice water quality for the rest of growth)
As you can see, very crazy week. Thank you to @Roberts who helped me sooo much. He save my growth of 99.99% secure death. I hope continue learning, better results and plants improve their health next week.
Enjoying and learning. See you guys. Happy growing!
Hi everybody!
This was a better week. NEWS:
- Run-off values came to normal.
- All is ok with LST.
- Plants health is much better than last week.
- Most of plants are growing sooo fast.
- Moby Dick #1 is going to be a monster.
- Girl Scout Cookies #3 is growing slowly.
- We have some small insect bites (I will apply potassium soap again in 2 days).
- Inverse osmosis system was installed and water quality is much better.
- Most of plants are already developing preflowers.
I hope we can continue with this good growth next weeks.
Best wishes for everybody.
Keep going!
Happy weeds :)
Hey everybody! How are you?
I was ready to upload a very good growth week but something crazy happened. Without doubts the worst new ever seen in my grow. I did LST this morning and everything was ok but I checked plants right now and I saw the Gorilla Glue #3 upper stem broken :'( . I forced too much. It is not 100% broken but yes at 85%. I tried to "save" with a drop of seaweed and surround it with tape. But I don't know if it will be enough. We will see next week.
Weekly news:
- Resin Boom was as foliar application (next week it will go in regular watering)
- Big Roots was just with water and just one time.
- Start with PK for bigger buds.
- I found springtails in run off.
- I bought a extra 40W light (not very good quality probably but I think it will be enough to cover all tent surface for flowering)
- By the rest all is pretty good. Health, growth, flowering... I hope Gorilla Glue #3 doesn't suffer too much and doesn't affect too much the development of the rest of the healthy plant. But we will see.
This is all for this week guys. See you soon! Happy growing for everybody (=
Hello everybody! Happy to see you here. We go with week 7 news!
- I did some little defoliation of bottom and yellow leaves, just a few of them because I didn't any experience here.
- Resin Boom was used in watering just one time this week. Probably 2 times for next weeks.
- Light distance is closer to get more power at flowering.
- Yesterday and today pH was 6.3 but the rest of week was 6.0 so I will update this parameter to 6.3 next week.
BAD NEWS:
- Gorilla Glue #2 and both Moby Dicks didn't flowering yet (but they looks like they are very close to start).
- Some plants (like Gorilla's) won the battle against LST. They are hard now and I can't bend it much more.
GOOD NEWS:
- Health is good, they continue growing well.
- New light is working properly, they seems happy with this help.
- Gorilla Glue #3 is totally recovered of the last week break. She growed near to 12 cm just this week! Very hard strain without doubts.
I think that's all for this week. I hope next week we can see Gorilla Glue #2 and both Moby Dicks with beautiful flowers.
See you soon guys.
HappyWeeds for everybody!
Hi everyone! What's going on? I hope all be ok. Here we go with week 8 news!
- I did the last little defoliation (just to get some experience).
- Growth was so big this week: 16 cm!
- Girl Scout Cookies #1 and #3 pistils start to be cloudy. So I will start with UVB light and flush today.
- Newborn is growing under Gorilla Glue #1 (I don't know from where she born, maybe from root?)
- All girls are flowering now. Some are retarder than others but I will harvest them one by one.
- Big Roots was used just 1 time each 2 weeks.
- Resin Boom just 1 time each week.
- We finished with LST because is literally impossible to continue now (really hard stems). I think I can improve next time.
I think that's all at the moment guys. See you soon! Have a nice day and happy growing!
Cheers!
Welcome growmies! Here we go with week 9 news:
- We started with UVB assimilation for GSC #1 and GSC #3. Started with 15 min in day 1 and then increasing 15 min more each day. Next week we can start with real training 2 h/day.
- We had problems with nutrition. I tried to change it but I fail. So I back to method I used until now. Thank you again to @Roberts for his help.
- Incredible sativa's growth this week: 16 cm!
- Trying to solve my nutrition problems I already buy Cal/Mag supplement for next week and a substrate pH/luxmeter.
- I increased lamp distance because of some red stems.
- We had this week some raining days and that's means RH increase, I turned on deshumidifier and I added propolix just to prevent of fungus.
- I removed duct tape from GG #3 break and it is totally recovered. I will upload photo next week.
Well I think that's all this week. I will try to solve my nutrition problem next week and I hope we can approach us to last weeks with indica's at least.
Take care mates. Happy to see you here. See you soon.
ROCK!
Welcome mates! How are you? I hope all be ok. Here we go with week 10 news!
- Low temp and high RH are coming. Trying to keep in optimal temp with heater and deshumidifier. I hope we can keep without fungus.
- GSC #1 and #3 are responding good to UVB light but I think they need at least 2 weeks more to harvest. So that's mean I started too early with UVB light and I will wait more time for switching in rest of babes.
- Plants health looks better now about nutrition.
- Vertical growth seems to stop and now just work in flowering.
Not very much for this week. I hope we can keep as well as this week and I think all will be ok. Thank you everybody for visiting. Happy to see you here (=
Keep going!
Cheers!
Welcome everybody growmies! How are you? I hope everything is ok. Here we go with week 11 news!
- You can see in images the big difference between GSC with and without UVB light exposition. Many much more trichomes in girls wich were exposed to UVB light. I will report if the potency and effects are different also between both when we finish with the crop. Very happy with this UVB result. We can see also that GSC #1 turning purple in some leaves because of UVB. I don't now if it is bad or good. Just curious if someone can tell me something about. If someone are interested in this UVB light just tell me. If I'm honest I didn't expect these big effects from this cheap one light.
- GSC finished with UVB, next week we will start with GG #1.
- We started to flush with GSC #1.
- Not very good week about climatic conditions. Heater was broken and cold came here. But now I have a better one and all is under control. Some girls are developing some purple pigments and that's simply beautiful.
Not much more this week mates. I hope we can start soon with some harvest and see how much can give us these babes. Can't wait also to test if UVB light is increasing THC levels. We will see.
Happy to see here guys. Wish you the best. Keep going!
Cheers!
(Hello everyone. I was away since some time ago. I'm sorry. Crop is complete and ended but I didn't have time enough to update diary. I will be updating the rest of weeks and harvests very soon. I will also separate each strain in a different diary to a better and more precise understanding of each one of them. Everything was good finally. I hope you enjoy these final updates).
Welcome ladies and gentlemans, here we are again with week 12 news:
- Another heater broken, another week with cold and humidity. Trying to get another one.
- We start with Gorilla Glue #1 UVB training. She looks to respond ok.
- We start with harvest too. It's time for Girl Scout Cookies #1. Very happy to be closer to end with these pretties babes. She was 2 days on darkness before chop.
- Light schedule was switched to 24 h day / 0 h nigth to avoid too much cold and humidity until get the new heater.
- Girl Scout Cookies #3 started with flush and will be harvested next week.
- Girl Scout Cookies #2 and Gorilla Glue #1 will be flushed and harvested soon too. The rest of babes keep flowering so we will have to wait some weeks more.
That's all this week. Enjoying final weeks. I hope everything is ok with everybody.
Happy to see you here. Wish you all the best.
HappyWeeds!
Welcome growmies! Here we go with week 13 news:
- We start flushing Gorilla Glue #1.
- We harvested Girl Scout Cookies #3 on this week.
- Some plants were yellowing and loosing health. Trying to keep the better conditions and increase the nuts to solve it.
- Nut burns appears on Moby Dick #1 (I gave the same nutrition to she than the rest of her sisters but maybe she is not such big than the rest and it was the main thing of her burns. It's sad for me she was my favorite. I have to learn more about nutrition to avoid this kind of things. So sorry babe).
- Too much work these weeks. It leave me no free time and my grow was suffering that.
- I forgot take photos of Moby Dick #2 this week.
That's all for week 13. I'm wishing to have more free time and upload completely the diary. I hope everybody is ok. Wish you all the best!
Keep going!
Welcome laddies and gentlemen to week 14 news! Here we go!
- Trying to solve yellowing increasing base nuts and giving worm humus between feed irrigation. We did like this:
+Day 1 morning: Regular feed.
+Day 1 night: Splash of water (to keep coco wet).
+Day 2 morning: Worm humus.
+Day 2 night: Regular feed.
(Repeat the process)
- Girl Scout Cookies #2 started with her 48 h on darkness.
- Girl Scout Cookies #1 finished her drying.
- Gorilla Glue #1 finished with UVB exposition.
- Crazy timer causes some moments at 85% RH (afraid to fungus).
My lack of free time is causing a bad ending but I'm trying to keep the better conditions I can. That was everything for this week! I wish see you here soon!
Cheers!
Welcome buddies! Here we go with one of the last weeks! Week 15 news:
- Plants health was improving.
- All babes were under UVB exposition.
- Girl Scout Cookies #2 was harvested on this week.
- Girl Scout Cookies #3 finished her drying.
- Gorilla Glue #1 was harvested on this week.
- All plants were rippering with PK 13-14 (2.5 mL/L) during the last 4 days.
- All plants looks with purple pigments (UVB exposition? Cold?).
- I bough a new timer because the older one was totally crazy and at this moment all is under control again.
- During the end of this week and all the next one we started flushing all the rest of babes.
We are really near to the end! Just one flowering week more (I will try to upload today) and harvests will be here! (I will try to upload it today too) I hope you are enjoying the way. Wish you all the best growmies!
See you soon! HappyWeeds!
Welcome everybody! Final flowering week at the end! Here we go with the final news:
- We flushed all babes with osmosys water.
- We finished with UVB exposition too.
- Maybe one of the most stable week.
- PH meter was broken too (I will need many new staff for the next grow).
- I will include a brief index with the main checkpoints from this diary in the first and last week for a easiest way to find whatever you search here.
*** DARKNESS EXPERIMENT ***
I did one final experiment before harvest. I tried to test how darkness affects to plants and I designed the following experiment:
+ 32 h darkness for Moby Dick #1.
+ 56 h darkness for Gorilla Glue #3.
+ 80 h darkness for Gorilla Glue #2.
+ 100 h darkness for Moby Dick #2.
I didn't notice big differences on Moby Dick's strain but I could see big differences on Gorilla's. Gorilla Glue #2 was really FULL of resin including on leaves. So I will consider leave the plants longer than 48 h of darkness before harvest.
*** UVB EXPERIMENT ***
About UVB I also see much more trichomes on flowers so I will continue using it in future grows. I still have to test the effect differences between UVB flowers and non UVB flowers. I will update it when buds will be mature.
Now we are in the end. I want to say a BIG thank you to all growers who helped me during these weeks and also to all of you guys for your visits, likes and comments. I want to say the highest THANK YOU to @Roberts who save my grow more than one time and teach me many things. Now I'm a better grower because of you. Thank you to @GBstrains , @BSFseeds and @growdiaries to support my grow and your excellent services.
I'm really happy to complete this diary, now I have stock enough for all year and I have also roots to my father-in-law's arthritis. I really enjoyed all this process with all of you. Wish you all the best and merry Christmas!
HappyWeeds!
She start a little bit weak but then she is a big champion plant. Really nice colors. I recommend give all cares possible the firsts weeks and she will do the rest later. When I read that she is very good to extractions I never imagined how good she is for that. I get 159 g of trim from 3 plants. I honestly recommend this strain.
I will upload better photos and more info about flavor, dry weigh and all the rest
Really big monster with big yield powder. Beauty green colors. She is very leafy so I recommend some defoliation. I will upload more details when it will be cured. Also I will upload smoke review and dry weigh.
Top strain. Big monster yield. Really hard stems. So beauty buds. I will upload more info when it will be cured. I will upload smoke review and dry weigh too
