@GreenHillZone,hi mate ✌️here is some info and kf there is something i have fogot lr you want to know, just ask. The light i jse is the same as i use to grow cannabis. But the poppy wil not blom or grow at all if you Use the cannabis cyclus. At the first 2-4 weeks i use 16on and 8 off and when they start to be a little bigger i switch over to 20 hours on 4 of, when the small pods are starting to come you set the light on 24 hours in max 1 week, because then the blooming will start and and put it back to 20/6 hours, they do not like dirt with much nitrogen and much of the nutrision used in cannabis growing. I recommed to u Se pk 13/14(they love it and they grow much better), biobizz acti vera, and some batboost. They are not wery easy like weed to grow. Do not water them direct, use a spray bottle and spray them with the nutrision every 2 to 3 day. I make my own laudanum from them and i use 50% alchohol, the plant material is raw, because it does not have much opium in it when the pods are dry, the alchohol is the best dolvent to use to ecstract the five alkoloids who sit in the poppy pods. It take around 90-100 days to go the full cycle. Remember that the stem also has a lot of opium, but its only the last 10 cm uo to the pods that you also shouls use. When the øods are ready, aprox 5 to 10 days after the flower leafs has fall off. I do not cut them to dry the latex, i use a scissor and cut the stem and the pods in some pieces and then right in the alchohol, the solvent is ecstract all of the opium alkoloids, so after 4 to 6 weeks on a jar you take a coffe filter to filter out the plant material. @Maryjane23,its so easy to make laudanum(opium tincture), put the stems and pods in 50% clean normal vodka or stronger. Wait 4-6 weeks and then the tincture is ready and very more potent! then a cup of poppy seed tea, but be careful about this stuff if you not are a tolerant opiat user. When you make it like this, you not just get the most known alkaloids like morphine or codeine, there are allmost 50 types of opium alkaloids In the pods. Am just so tired from all the semi or full synthetic opiods pills, so i have used this tincture in almost 3 months and this is much better for my body and i dont get so strong bi effects.

@gazmanuk,why not try something new, its better with the natures pain killer than all the synthetic opiods when i have jsed strong pain medicine for many years and its not good for your body. Only natrual😎 have a great day mate✌️
