Auto Purple

PoloGrow Set up MarsHydro FC4800 and 4x4 grow tent. These two will finish out in this tent with my new equipment. I added more soil as well to cover some of the new growth above ground. So far, I haven't noticed anything out of the norm. Next week, I'm thinking I may be able to implement some LST. This will be my first time, but the preferred method when dealing with Autos and especially this Purple Auto. I have the light dimmed at 75% 35 inches from the light. I couldn't get it closer, need to invest in an extension cord LOL.

PoloGrow A tale of Purple A and B. I ended up adding a tie under Purple B because it was growing tilted to encourage upward growth, and it's looking great in response. I haven't educated myself enough to understand LST and comfortably practice it on Autos as I'm just trying to learn the grow process at the moment. I've been lightly watering around the plant and gradually increasing the range from center per water every couple days. My assumption is that this encourages root growth, and I would note that the stalk has become increasingly bigger from previous grows, but I'm also using a new light as well and these are new seeds. I've had a beautiful beginning of something great on an autoflower in the past using a 24hr light cycle, and I'm enjoying documenting the growth on these girls.

PoloGrow Still watering when needed at this point, raised the intensity of my light. Purple A has shown amazing growth, and I haven't defoliated them and unless I find a reason, I'm just going to continue observing the grow process. I noticed pest bites on Purple B, and with it having the initial issue finding dirt, I initially tried to cut a leaf from to isolate the infestation, but this was likely foolish as I noticed more bites a couple days later. If I'm being honest, I'm experimenting and new. So I begun applying Neem oil to it every other day and hopefully by the time this one is ready to flower, it will be well cleared up.

PoloGrow Implemented LST on Purple A. I wish I had done the other, Purple B, but it's growth pattern was new for me, so I wanted to see what it would do naturally. Having seen what it could've looked with LST, it definitely could've benefitted. Dinosaur leaves on Purple B. I also trimmed under Purple A to increase the air flow to. So far so good, it went into flower right on time as expected as well. Excited for the next couple of weeks, the leaves have had a strong smell on them since the beginning, but of course it doesn't linger in the tent at this point. Bring on the terps!
