First Grow (Bag seeds)

Nick_Frampton This was a good week. I didn't expect things to go so well for my first grow! The Vanilla Kush was a little slow at growing but it's catching up now. My T4 Ac infinity online fan came in so I can keep the perfect conditions for my plants a lot easier now. Cereal milk #2 had a seed stuck to it and when it fell off a leaf came off with it unfortunately.

Nick_Frampton Nothing special to report this week. Just the same old same old. I've added some sticky fly traps because I saw a fly in the tent but since than I haven't noticed anymore.

Nick_Frampton Well im uploading this on my birthday so happy birthday me lol. This week was a total wake up call on how things can go from fine to bad fast. I accidentally put in the wrong dry ammendments in the starting pots (I put 2 8 4 Bloom instead of 4 4 4 all purpose) so I had to transplant them into bigger pots with Perlite and earth worm castings. They're starting to bounce back but I expect 1 or 2 not to make it. We will see how next week goes!

Nick_Frampton Week started off bad but ended up great. My plants were weak in calcium and magnesium so I put in 1tbs/Gal of Epsom salt into the top of all the soil and watered it down with a PH of 6.7 to raise the PH level from 5.8 closer to 6.2 - 6.5 and it worked marvelously as you can see from the pictures. One stem broke off during training and another snapped so I have tried to tape it together and so far it's holding together very well. I got rid of one other plant because it was growing very slow and replaced it with another seed I found in a bag. I'm super excited to see what happens next week!

Nick_Frampton This week I noticed a problem with gnat flies so I put some sticky cards to really determine the population. It turns out there wasn't as many as I thought and haven't seen any since I put some new cards. I defoliated the plants and got rid of 2 plants because of their gender being male.

Nick_Frampton This week was nothing special. Work has been super busy so I haven't had time to do much but water the plants when dry and they're loving it and the conditions. Next week is when I'll top feed them again.

Nick_Frampton This week went very nice. This is my final week of veg before I flip the lights to flower. I will be transplanting into bigger pots before switching the lights. Wish me luck!
