09.10.21 First day in the dirt and in the tent. Nothing much to say at the moment. She'll be fed with plane water until the first true leaves appear. A new fertiliser line arrived at the basement. A big shoutout to the Folks of Gen1:11 for supporting this run with their products. 28.10. HeyHo Folks, Very late with the update, but I have been sick the last days and wasn't able to nurse the ladies properly. The Mindflayer is growing nice and healthy, she had been topped on monday morning and didn't show any stress symptoms since then. 04.11. The last straps had been tied up and the switch to 12:12 is shortly ahead. The Mindflayer grows vigorous and strong, branches r stiff as bones. 28.11. The Mindflayer pushed heavily last week and jumped from approx 25 cm to 54cm today..👏👏💪 Budsites are growing nicely and i hope she's not goin insane in terms of stretch 🤞🤞.. 04.12. Welcome to another week od Solfire's Mindflayer. Stretch is over and she hit the brakes @58cm.. meehh.. Could have been a bit more but first time with this genetix and first time with the new Q5.. so, next time it'll be better. She's definitely the fastest of all the ladies, budsites are very pretty and gaining weight every day🤤... That's quite it, everything runs super smooth and it's nothing to report.. 11.12. Hello, welcome to Mindflayers 5th week in bloom. She's very fast in growth, we r continuous producing biomaterial.. very nice. Since the last few days there is also a very decent Gelato-like scent.. Super nice💯.. 18.12. Welcome... 6th week of flower begins. She slowed a bit down, could be nothing but Buds look strange and not gaining weight.. but probably it is just my paranoia... as ima checking on her every free minute ..🤣🤣 That's all from the basement right now.. have a good one and grow safe! 26.12. We're entering the final stages with the Mindflayer. Tbh, i messed up the training on this beauty. She would have been great in a SCROG Set up. Clearly I underestimated her abillity to perform one hell of a stretch😄.. And ima afraid that i gave her too much light a few weeks ago, otherwise I can't explain why the buds in the lower stages are clearly bigger than the head buds. Well, lesson learnt.. 09.01. 57 days in bloom are done and I took off the top 3 stages of the Mindflayer. They had clearly damaged leaves and seem not to progress anymore. Totally overdid it in terms of light-strength and Juice.. But that's just 1st world problems, buds are rock-hard and spread a bit of a rotten fruit/berry scent.. A week, maybe 10 days for the rest of the Bush.. We'll see.. That's all from the basement, have a good one! Servus ✌️ Oim.

15.01. The ride is over and all buds from the Mindflayer are still in the dryer. These r fat and dank buds.. still too humid to have a test, so smoke report will follow in a few weeks.. Very interesting plant with a lot of potential if you know how to handle her properly. Very slow growth in the beginning but branches were very strong and hard to bend. She didn't care much about the nutes, I had genoneeleven on max and she took it well. I decided to do a simple topping expecting her to grow more bushy but i totally underestimated her stretch. So she tripled her size the first 3 weeks of bloom. Very short internodial distance, she definitely had been better placed If I had brought the branches more horizontal..that would have been a Bud Mayhem👍👍 She's also a bit fragile in terms of light. She wasn't very happy with my Sanlights.. i managed to burn the top stage.. well, long story short.. for sure a strain with potential.. very curious how the smoke will be... see u soon...
