Shinsimilla A good 1st week for this little girl.
Mostly sunny, but a few cooler, overcast days.
She popped in 24h in paper towel and planted in her final bag after about 48h
Broke ground in less than 24h from planting, so she's happy and in a hurry.

Shinsimilla A good week and some nice progress. A few overcast days had her stretching a bit, but nothing too serious.
No feeding or watering this week yet, will start next week.

Shinsimilla Another good week with nice progress. A few overcast days made her stretch a bit, but nothing too serious.
Started light watering and feeding this week with some FPJ I made from Kikuyu grass and LAB.
Anyone interested in learning more about making your own natural amendments watch Chris Trump's videos on youtube.
It's much easier than you think, easy to do with limited space and works better than anything I've bought in the past.

Shinsimilla A good week for this girl. She's flipped into flower, so hope she has some stretch in her.
A few branches developing nicely and took the lower leaves off, they were shaded by the ones above most of the day, so decided to chop them.

Shinsimilla She's kicked into flower solidly this week, not the biggest, but should get a nice little bit off her.
Need to get them in a cooler and more humid spot in future, the heat and dry gives them a hard time.
Otherwise all is well and happy to have some more of this lady.
Switched from FPJ to an FFJ this week.

Shinsimilla Another good week for this girl.
She's not big, but loving the structure on her.
Looks like she's a green lemonade, but is smelling amazing and the flower from the previous one was amazing.

Shinsimilla A great week for this girl again. She's filling out nicely and still has lots of white stigmas, so hopefully lots more fattening up to come.
The terps are starting to get to work and she has a nice sweet smell to her.

Shinsimilla Another good week for this girl, she's bulking up nicely and stacking the trichomes on.
Gave her a little dose of molasses before I start the flush next week, otherwise not much to report.

Shinsimilla Another good week for this lady, she's starting to wind down, so stopped with the nutrients and started the flush.
She has a great sour, slightly citrus smell and the flowers have bulked up nicely.
Not the biggest, but very happy with the quality of the flower.

Shinsimilla Another good week for this girl.
She's just about done, so will chop her early next week, so the next update will be the harvest.
Happy with how she's done and the quality of flower is amazing with sweet citrus.
An easy girl to grow. Very resistant to mold and mildew and flower is nice and dense and very frosty with some amazing sweet and sour terps.
I can never nail down the flavor when I smoke her. Sometimes it's sweet and sour with citrus and other times I get a floral and sweet.
Either way she is a great smoke with awesome quality flower.
The effects are uplifting and almost euphoric to start with and then eases into the more indica/relaxing side.
I really enjoy this strain and will keep hunting for that purple pheno.

@DevilsBud, nothing a sheet of black material can't fix haha but the space can be an issue. It's always worth the extra effort.
Thanks, need to give my girls the model treatment. haha
Question: Are you doing something purposeful to keep the plants this small?
I would assume that this cultivar would get a bit bigger than this in a 5-gallon pot... especially since you obviously know what you're doing!
Still... the bud and the plant looks fantastic!
@SonomaSungrown, I live in South Africa and we get 13 to 14h of light a day in summer and with normally very warm and dry weather.
A lot of my autos start flowering at the end of week 2 or 3, so I struggle to get them big. A few have vegged for the normal 4 to 5 weeks and those normally get to a more decent size.
I grow the autos for a little top up of flower and some for hash and rely mainly on my photoperiods for the big yeilds.
I can't grow photoperiods from the start of the season, my space isn't big enough, so the autos at the start of the season is just to get a bit of variety.
@SonomaSungrown, only the amendments I add to the soil each season and then natural inputs when I water and foliar spray.
Only thing I use that I don't make is copper soap in case WPM tries to creep in past the LAB.
They look great,my PL are in 4th week.quicpk pqustion how do you put back ground black?I will follow.im confused as im using 3 part micro grow bloom but others say they wouldn't pay for bottled crap,so confused please PM.HAPPY GROWING!
@420Highlifecouple, Thank you 🙏
For the black bg I photograph my plants against a black bg and light the plant up with 2 or 3 flashes and to expose for the bright plant makes the BG stay dark.
On the nutrient side I'm just trying to not buy bottles of nutrients and avoid shipping and more plastic bottles when most of the nutrients are in things around you every day and better suited to my environment. If you buy calcium (for your plants) and eat eggs and throw the shells out, you are throwing calcium out and then going to buy it.
Nothing I put on my plants is toxic and is a good feeling to know everything I feed my plants is not only safe, but is good for me too.
To me growing weed shouldn't have a negative effect on the environment, so I don't use lights/electricity and don't buy anything I can make from scraps or plants around me.
Chris Trump has a lot of videos on making your own natural inputs and are many other videos out there
