This is my second grow, and my second time around with this strain. Want to try to do a couple things different than last time: 1- treat her better than her sister on the first grow and apply some of what i hope i learned, and 2- it's an amazing looking plant. she smells great and she's clearly durable. I'm also hoping to be able to try to make some edibles with her (my partner prefers edibles to smoking).
9/15 - soaked seed in cup of water overnight
9/16 - before noon, tapped floating seed and it sank to bottom. planted seed in a pocket of Black Gold in a 3 gallon pot of Coast of Maine's Stonington Mix. placed under a dome in the 3x3 with the LED on at 50% 24/7.
9/18 - sprouted
week 1. always exciting, always also sorta...slow :) i wish we had x-ray glasses so we could see what's happening under the soil.
planted the seed into starter mix after soaking 24 hours in water. everything popped. she looks pretty happy.
was finally able to get a 2nd top. i don't think i'm going to get a 3rd. i might try a 5 gallon pot next time, or else i have to decide that the genetics aren't super fast growing. kinda sad if that's the case because this produces awesome flower for use.
was worried that i topped to soon and caused issues. i probably topped early, but i've got 4 tops that are starting to flower, and so she's going to start to stretch soon. it's a lot tighter than i wanted, but i can work with it.
added 4-4-4 and 4-8-4 as a topdressing with some worm castings and compost to scratch in just before preflower showed up. added some Coast of Maine Fish Bone Meal a couple days later.
Hey! Happy growing my friend! I hope you do well and get some good results! I will come by sometime to see your progress! Keep on growing!
