Loadshedding since last week, so two hours a day without light and fans, sometimes 4, looks like its okay. Ended on thursday. Just gave water now. Leaves are starting to yellow, with a little purple here and there. Apart from the one fan leaf showing brown spots, i think its all okay and just a normal fade, so hoping those spots were a past issue. Smell hasnt been much of an issue so far, at least until lights out where they give off this planty smell for a few minutes.

Hey, this is a "Dictyophara europaea" a rare emipterus, AKA big-nosed cricket. Is a wonderful and harmless critter.

Anyone know what kind of damage this is or if its anything to worry about? A few spots like this on some leaves but not much. definitely doesnt look like mold or anything like that up close, its more like that part of the leaf has shrunken and whitened.

This could be related to S-deficiency. it's on edge of purple... so it was already going downhill in regard to receiving light. Does not look like light burn based on what sorrounds it at same level. heh, kinda points toward trace elements, which is very unlikely in soil. Zn / Fe deficiencies. so, double check tht pH as before... if pH is fine, i'd lean toward this just being part of being a bit underfed + senescence. more about previous quetion -- if you do add some magnesium sulfate (foodgrade, doesn't even have to be a specific garden product), just go about 1g/gallon mixed.

Also, is this kind of fade normal? It all seems to be moving along really quickly, and some of the yellowing leaves are going purple now too

Looks like you got some time.. only 10-20% at best of pistils have color. A loupe to check on trichome coloration will be more accurate. It's somethign you have to observe and learn.. then figure out personal preference on harvest window... you want more or less amber? trial and error is only way to know your preference. ~10-20% amber trichomes is generally considered the beginning of a haarvest window.. .some wait for it to be 70% or more amber. (in general, more amber should cause more of a couchlock or sleepy effect) as far as leaves... i see interveinal chlorosis. It could just be senescence, but more so looks like a little light on feed... difficult to say with a 'super soil'. As i look thruogh last few weeks, you haven't fed much, so i'd lean deficiency. May need to feed a bit given current mix you used for substrate. OR, maybe add a top dress at some point during first week or so of flower to reinforce etc etc... needs a bit more for this current length of time of this grow. After reading other question i changed my mind on symtpom... maybe, a sulfur deficiency? but the spots near bottom could also indicate Mg deficiency... the reason i flip-flopped is that it looks to be occuring top-down mostly. I think some Epsom Salt (magnesiu sulfate) would solve this problem. May be a mix of 2 symptoms? do a slurry of soil to make sure it's somewhere near 6.5pH. A slurry shuld stop a bit short of actual pH - whether up or down relative to 7. it only informs a bit... as long as not crazy far off, all is good and it is precise enough to tell you that much. i'm a soilless guy, so it's hard to suggest anything specific. if you stay on this path, you can get to a point where you simply add water throughout grow (maybe, a lil top dress refresher at some point), but takes time and adjustment to find that balance.

@Fruitgrower, yeah, its a 7-8 week flower, 2 more apparently but we'll see. Trichs are still clear, with some milky no amber.
