I was gifted this clone this week. This is my first indoor run. New tent. Have it in gaia living soil. Small amount of power bloom added to soil. Planning to flip this plant in about a week
I am wondering what I should prune off of this plant before I flip it to flower in a week or so. I topped it. But since this is my first indoor grow I am wondering what else I should take off.
Very healthy plant she looks great. Those large fan leaves up top will block light from the lower growth so I would start there. It only takes a few days for the plant to bounce back and you'll be defoliating again. Just keep those big leaves from blocking out the bud sites 👍
There isn't any wrong way of doing so, as overdoing it just requires a bit more recovery time. A recommendation would be to focus on removing the auxilary branches that are popping up from where the fan leaves start, so the main branches grow faster. Doing this will allow you to remove the suckers without removing leaves, leaving more light absorbtion machines. I would recommend letting the plant grow freely for 2 more weeks before another defoliation. I hope this helps.
You’re gonna be fine. May have taken a bit too much off but no worries friend she will keep growing and making new growth. So no stress.
Defoliating is something that over time you’ll understand better how to do over time.

Opened her up a little bit more and did some more trimming. Beginning of week 3 now under my care. Just flipped the light to 12/12, happy with the progress so far !
Noticed this morning that some of the leaves are starting to curl. My humidity got up to 75 % which is high for flowering. Also noticed it is barely taking in any water. Any help would be appreciated. Also I have an exhaust fan running all the time as well as a regular fan intent
Right now I am watering 1L every 3 days. Using Gaia green living soil. Gaia bloom, little bit of fish shit and a small amount of liquid weight. My soil isn't drying out very fast
looks like wind stress to me. you want your fans blowing above and below the canopy. direct fan causes the leaves too curl in attempt to keep moisture in. At this stage she is so small you would only need the fan above. Other thing it could be is under watering, but that would show more uniform across the whole plant and not just the top leaves

Was going through some humidity issues, got a dehumidifier going in the room seems to have solved the issue. Plant is taking more water in now. Looking healthy, nice and dark. Tied down all main branches and opened it right up. Just starting to get some signs of flower.
Now the waiting game.
Purchased a new light. Mars hydro tsw2000. Starting to show some nice signs of flower. Plants is growing real nice. Smell is still the same. Have two more clones coming this week going veg them for a bit then add them to the tent. Overall waiting to see the differences with a better quality light !
Struggling with a deficiency this week, thought it was light burn from the new mars hydro light. From my grow question it seems like it is a cal mag or zinc deficiency. I am hoping it clears up I have fed with cal mag next water will have molasses in it for zinc. Flowers are looking nice still growing.
She is coming along stong. Starting to get some nice frost on the leaves, buds are slowly starting to swell, solved the ph problem most likely plant was heading for lockout. Hopefully with that corrected we just watch her grow now !🚀
Go get some Jordan of the Islands seeds, very reasonably priced, lots of freebies, quality weed. What's not to like ! Growing was easy, stanky, frosty, dense buds. Will update when I have some cured smoke to update with !
