Popped it directly in the hydroton, right above the water line. The bubbles from the air stone keep the area moist. Popped it on Wednesday, and it sprouted it's taproot less than 24 hours later.

@Bronxyman, I use regular tao water. Only tap water for the first week, then I add my nutrients. No RO, no nothing.
