Back on the autos again as time is of the essence for this one. We’ve got some Auto Big Cheese from Seeds Mafia thanks to their competition.
Just running 2 out of the 3 seeds that arrived alongside a couple of other strains but this diary will focus on the Cheese for the sake of the comptetion.
I used the paper towel method with GreenHouse Feeding Bio Enhancer added to the water. Within a couple of days these seeds had popped and had long healthy tap roots. They were planted and after another day below ground they’re out from the soil and already showing their first leaves.
A strong start and hoping they continue to grow fast and strong.
Growing really well these big cheese autos… only at the end of week 3 since they sprouted and they’re already spreading out quick and showing pre-flowers.
Started to LST them by bending the main stem over and exposing the side branches allowing them to catch up.
Given the roots a drenching with the Bio Enhancer from Green House Feeding and also applied a light dose of the Bio Grow onto the top of the soil.
End of week 5 from seed for these big cheeses.
Cooled down a bit this week due to the time of year and weather outside.
Given a good root drench of the Bio Enhancer at a rate of 1 gram per litre of water.
Been taking off some lower fading fan leaves just to keep things tidy. I’ve been tying down any branches that get much taller than the rest so I’ve got lots of nice even height tops as we finish stretching and get further into flowering.
Just a steady week this week, flowers starting to build a little more and the stretching seems to have finished now with the plants around 50cm tall.
Just watering lightly every couple of days.
Been plagued with fungus gnats this week. Kept the soil outside before using it and it’s allowed the gnats in and they’ve got a bit out of hand. I don’t mind a few but when they’re swarming it doesn’t look good.
I’ve fed the plants with a top dressing of the Green House BioBloom for the flowering stage at a rate of 1.5g per litre of soil.
Then covered with gravel to keep the gnats out hopefully, and I’ve got the yellow sticky traps out.
Flowers are building slowly but steadily, hoping the buds start to fatten up nicely in as we go into mid flower.
Hey! Happy growing my friend! I hope you do well and get some good results! I will come by sometime to see your progress!
If you ever visit my page please say hello!
Peace & love L.S.T
