I popped my seed into a pot and then 4 days later it was a little seedling. So I am looking at all these plants and it appears to be really slow to grow. I don’t know why?

Seedlings and young plant like warm media to grow in. They like 22c+ . I've found 28c to be a happy place for them. Lower than 20c and you'll notice growth slow. <18c and it will crawl along. So 22-28c is best. Also, make sure your water is 22c-24c or you'll be cooling the roots and slowing growth when you water them. I got a heat mat recently for my Space Cookies (grow log on here) and it made such a difference I'm completely convinced they're necessary. If they're buy an open window, perhaps put a dome over them to keep them ~28c with humidity ~60%. But root temperature should not be overlooked.

Hi there! They’re asking for light! Growing nearby the window always result in slow growing twisted plants and poor yield. I’d recommend to buy a light or find them some great outdoor spots. I’ll be around, good luck with these babies!

Is that still technically indoors if it is in the light outside on the patio ? Idk... We have a screen but it is still receiving the mad sun of Florida?

@MaryJane101, if it is receiving outdoor sunlight and not an artificial light then it would be classified as an outdoor grow. I noticed that your grower question is a bit old. If you found one of the answers helpful in particular then select that answer as the answer to your grower question as it helps those who answer your questions enter the grower of the month giveaway. Have a great time growing and good luck!

Usually it is right out enjoying the Florida sun but it was t making a difference so we transplanted it to a 50 perlite and 50 really good new organic soil... we think it was the only way to make sure that it was getting the right ph and nutrients it needs. I thought it was possibly a nitrogen issue . So I will post a picture of the leaves we saw yesterday and see what people think... thank you for the advice I do agree it probably should have more light but we can’t afford the bulbs for now and we live in a very sunny state... I thought it would be better for natural sun? Idk
