Had great germination of all 4 seeds. Planted in soil after tails popped. Now waiting for sprouts.

I’m worried about the seeds sprouting had good germination on all four seeds with the paper towel method. planted root down and watered and put humidity domes now just waiting. How long does it typically take for seeds to sprout from soil?

Depends on how deep you buried the germinated seed. It can take anywhere from 2-7 days. Sometimes longer. They’re on their own time. They’ll come up my friend. Just a little patience. I planted a seed in dirt with zero germination method and it took around 19 days for her to come out.

If you check out my diary of Penelope you can get a good idea of how long it takes. I started her in paper towel on a Saturday. Two days later in a little coco starter pot and by Wednesday she had come out of the soil. But like I said before. Depending on deep you buried the seed will dictate how long it takes. Be patient friend. They’ll come up. 🤙 Wish you the best.

Good week. Little bit of light burn on one I think? Moved light a little further away from 24 to 30 inches. Hoping to see some real growth over the next week. Planning on starting some nutrients beginning of week 3 if they are ready.

Is this light burn? Or some other sort of deficiency?

It is not stress, light burn or a deficiency/disease, just a mild leaf mutation that is quite common in cannabis. She will be fine and will not need any "rescuing", her next leaves should be perfectly normal. This condition is known a "variegation" and some plants can have many leaves like this throughout their life or sometimes only an odd one here and there, but most plants will have none or only a very few. You have nothing to worry about, your plant will be fine and is not suffering from anything. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Yes! Definitely overwatered. I would try to take it out of there and place it in to a sock. With a knife cut through soil arround the seedling.. maybe 3cm to each side and pick it out and place it in to a sock. Sock is like a fabric pot.. it absorbes humidity from the soil and let's root breath. You also can put a small fan blowing at the sock it will dry quiker... transplant back to soil when leaves rise. Water your plants only when soil drys out completely.. you'll know it by the weight of the pot.. bad water practice can lead to many things like fungus gnats or root rot. Good luck

Looks like overwintering. At this stage you should be able to just wait it out. If you really want to do something you could turn over the soil by the edges as it dries to get more wet soil to the top and dry out. Also add some holes in the side of the bucket to help get oxygen into the root zone. Remember the more you mess with things the more stressed she will get. You would be surprised how much of the time the best thing to do is nothing.
