This was the last week of flowering! It all ended up 2018-10-13! For this last week, I did not give them any nutriment. I flushed all of the nutriment with only water exept for 1 plant witch I added a little bit of molasse. The buds are full of trichrome! I think it was not too bad for a first run. I did some mistake but I think I will learn from it. Going for the harvest now!
@Twisted_Forest, My seeds were seized by customs because of the agricultural issue the paperwork said. I received my package, but it had been opened, and the seeds replaced with a form telling me what happened.
I sent you a DM about a few places in Canada and the U.S. that sells seeds. They don't have the deals that you get from Seedsman, but they are closer to home and might not be as risky. I haven't ordered from them though.
@Fun_Growin, thx I will compare the root befor transplanting! For the heat of the light, I donโt know.. the seller of the light said 4 inch from canopy is good and their is 0 heat with good ventillation. I will go take a lot at the bideo on youtube but I donโt think plant take heat like a windshield. Even if they do, when you have good ventillation in your car during a hot day you windshield is not very hot. I will go check your video and learn from it! Thx :)
@Twisted_Forest,
Check out week 6 of this grow. growdiaries.com/diaries/4200-led-mixed-fruit-soil/week/21911 Specifically the picture of the roots when I took them out of the solo cups...
If you have less roots than this it's not time to transplant..
Also, about your thoughts on putting the light closer because it generates no heat (you ment low heat) ......
Think about your car in the sun on a 75 degree day... the air is 75 outside the car, the air is 85-90 inside the car, the windshield is 130 degrees...
Think of your plant as the windshield, and the inside as the internal temp of the plant...
All light is heat, it is a wavelength traveling through space that transfers its energy on whatever it inpacks...
Just think about it...
I would recommend checking out the "grow boss" on YouTube
He is kinda "a dick" but his info on how to use and think about light is SPOT ON, and is great for improving your grows.
Also watch is 3 light rotation video and truth about nutrients video...
Lots of growers here learned from him
@Fun_Growin, Itโs 2 foot X 4 foot long. So 4 bulbs 4 foot long. Since it generate no heat I thought I could put it closer. Thx for the info I will wait before topping them. I think they are ready for transplant or very close, the roots are starting to go out of the holes in the bottom.
@Twisted_Forest, I don't think you could harm the plants with molasses. I know its purpose, but I'm not sure on quantity and frequency.
I was watching some videos about Nectar of the Gods and I'm going to use Aphrodite's Extraction along with Herculean Harvest. He compared their product with molasses and I like what he said. I'm also using the product line already so it compliments the line.
@Quexos, yea I got all weekend to do it! Since I never did that I have no idea of how it will turn ๐. I watched a couples of video on youtube but I guess I will learn more doing it
It looks like you made it through the stretch just fine! You aren't even at 3 ft. tall yet. If course that doesn't include your buckets. (Great idea on the kid's swimming pool). Your netting will work perfect. It looks like its set up right at the base of your bud stalks. Good support, and easily spreads out the bud sites.
...And now we wait.
@Twisted_Forest, You won't. There honestly isn't anything different for you to do at this stage until closer to harvest. Feed, water, and watch. You get to keep defoliating. That will give you something to do.
Nice growth! They seem to be liking everything about their new environment.
Are you going to flip them to 12/12 soon? Remember, they will probably double in height when you do. Some preemptive LST might be in order.
I would be doing LST until the stretch is over. Maybe take a break when you flip so they aren't stressed. I'd be worried that they might grow out of your tent! How tall is your grow space BTW?
@Twisted_Forest, Yeah its funny. Each time you plan a grow, its a minimum 3 month plan! Since my new seeds came in, I've planned my grows out. Basically, I'm good for the next 2 years!!!
@Quexos, thx! Yea I already love this strain! Next I am planning on turning my trainwreck and white widow on flower in about 1 week and try to breed them! In my other room I will put my strawberry in flower too with a short veg time (3 week). And after that I want to try autoseeds! ๐ got lot of plan haha and little time
Looks really nice! I read a lot of people use molasses. I haven't done anything with it, but based on the journals I've read, its a cheap way to increase bud size and aroma. A lot of the nutes on the market do the same thing, but they are a lot more expensive.
@Twisted_Forest, Warm the water first. It will help dissolve the sugars. You can cool it back down once you have a solution. Homebrewers use honey and liquid malt when they make beer. It is a pain to dissolve, so you heat up the water and it works great.
@Quexos, yea I read of lot of thing about it too! That why I am testing on some plants to see the difference. I hope itโs does something because itโs not nice to mix in water.. take lot of time ๐
@Quexos, I think the LST saved me ๐ If they stretch anymore I think I will need something to support the buds.. since the height is the same for the last 3 days. I assumed/hope the stretch is over..๐
Nice looking sprouts! Are these seeds feminized? If so, you are going to have quite the forest. What node will you top these girls? Remember they are going to be tallish when full grown.
@Twisted_Forest, Good luck! You will a nice, full tent. This should be a good grow to follow. I love the strain, and its easy to grow. I have some Blue Dream seeds in the mail to use in the future.
Nice looking week of growth! I think its a good idea to wait until they've recovered from transplanting. It won't take more than a few days, and you have nothing to gain by doing everything right away. Once you top the plants, give them a day or two, then start doing some LST to spread out your bud sites. LST will also help keep her shorter.
Overall very nice! Those girls are going to great!
Man that is going to be one huge trimming on that under canopy. I couldn't bear to trim that extensively.
Your scrog is coming together rather nicely. You did a great job keeping the height down. What do you think? Around 4 feet come harvest time? That is certainly manageable.
I am going to be growing Blue Dream and another Sativa next grow. You are giving me some great ideas on how to manage my grow.
@Quexos, yea final height will be around 4 feet. The trimming is going to take some time! especially the one in the back.. really hard to reach. Blue Dream is a vigourous grower. The 1st week in flower it pushed around 3,5 inch through the net!
Very, very healthy. Nice work. Its a great idea to use the screen to spread out your girls. Remember though, they are going to almost double in size when you flip them.
