Well this was a real struggle this round. As you can see I stunted the growth real bad due to my over correction of PH. I decided to test the runoff from these new babies after watering and the runoff was so high I was giving them water with ph in the 5.5 range a few times to bring the runoff down... bad move on so many levels. So I made a decision so pull them out of the soil, wash the roots in 6.5 ph water and repot them in fresh soil. This helped for a little bit, then they just stopped growing. So I moved them to perm homes in 5gal pots, loosend the soil around the root area (noticed no new growth after the repot) and hit them with nutrients. Bam.... back in business. Won't be a high yield or large pants but I saved all 8 of them.
They are definitely happy again and PH is consistently 6.5-6.6. Defoliated all of lower growth. Realized after the first run when giving nutrients I was balancing the ph before adding the nutrients to the water which was dropping the ph below range. Adding biobizz-grow directly to the water automatically balances the ph to where it needs to be.
Moving right along in growth. Plants are happy. Switching to 18/6 on the lights from 24hr for root development. Defoliated lower growth amd inner nodes, waiting for them to sprout out more then I'll LST them. Introduced another 260w light to help even out light spread and a 30w uva bar.
Nothing new to report. A little clawing and burn from more nutrients than they would like, but due to the time frame, they are just gunna have to deal. They only got bloom nutrients this last water to give them a small break from the grow nutrients. Stalks are going purple red, not sure if it's nutrients or strain causing it at this point. Added build a soil - build a flower, top dressing.
Day 75 for these autos. Some of these plants are still early in flower than others. I feel like the ph issue in the beginning really stopped the clock for them.
