The plant is quite small, as they seem to start off that way when planted outside of the shell. It doesn't seem to harm them, just start off small. 10/2/21: Day 3. Growth has become visible, true leaves are coming in nicely. 10/4/21: Day 5. 💧💩Watered today, no specific amount, just enough to wash in the Gaia Green All Purpose nutrients. I added the recommended amount of 1 tbsp per gallon of soil.

Plant was looking a little yellow to me, so I decided adding a bit more water couldn't hurt. 10/11/21: Day 12. Still haven't added any more water, but tomorrow night call for a soaking. Growth is looking great, coming back nicely. It should certainly end up being a lot bigger than I originally thought. 10/13/21: Day 14. 💧Growth is really starting to pick up, new leaves are coming in fast. Pot is finally feeling light, so I will give it a large dose of water.

Since I developed a large headache yesterday afternoon, I had to put off the watering until today. Heavy dose, at least a full 2L to itself. New leaves are looking good, nice and healthy so far. 10/16/21: Day 17. Plant is doing great, a nice green to it's leaves, and it's getting much bigger. While I still don't expect this to be a big plant, I do feel it will be something worth watching. 10/18/21: Day 19. 💧Growth is coming along nicely. Well over 6 inches now, and spreading out well. While I'm not expecting this to be my biggest yielding plant of this strain, I do see good things coming from it overall. Gave the plant a thorough watering, it was feeling nice and light, and the plant was behaving peculiar with the curled leaves. Hopefully tomorrow it looks better. 10/20/21: Day 21. 🚂Plant is looking good, longer than I'd like, but acceptable. I would like to do some LST, or possibly even top it to encourage side growth, but I still want to see what it does naturally. If I do anything at all, it will be likely be tonight, and I will update if I do. 5:45pm: Decided to bite the bullet and perform some LST. Bent the top over 90° holding the base in place with a stick and plant tie. This should give me a possible 6 larger colas, rather than 1 bigger one with a few small ones. That's if it flowers out right now, and not bush out in pre-flower, which should begin any day now.

LST provided two branches to become the same height as the main cola. 10/23/21: Day 24. 💧Watered in thoroughly, but held off enough to leave tomorrow open for a dose of Power Bloom nutrients and another watering in. 10/24/21: Day 25. Growth is looking fantastic. I'm not sure if I made the right call by not pulling back the two branches. Hopefully the colas produce nice buds to make up for it. 10/26/21: Day 27. 💧💩🍃Procrastinated the last few days, and only got feeding the Power Bloom nutrients today. I forgot to take photos of me doing so. I gave it the full recommended dose of 1 tbsp per gallon, so 3 tbsp for my 3 gallon pot. Watered in a fair bit right after, but I'm going to go back later with a pitcher of water to moisten the entire pot, and water the nutrients down a bit. 10/27/21: Day 28. My oh my is it stretching for the sky. Had I known it would bounce back like this, I would have taken more care in providing more LST. Oh well, looks like I will have an odd looking harvest.

With only the three long branches, I'm expecting a very small yield, but I feel it will still provide some quality buds. The clustering of nodes is nice, should make for a nice solid cola. As I don't feel it's necessary to back off completely of nutrients during flowering, I will be providing a second dosage of Power Bloom nutrients after the 7 1/2 week mark has passed, going no earlier than week 7. 10/30/21: Day 31. The plant is coming along nicely, minus the issue with the curling leaves. Since the buds are coming in nicely, I'm not worried about the outcome of this plant, as I'm sure it will produce enough to make me happy. I will try to remember for the next grow, if I plan to do any LST, I will need to offset the planting location, to allow me to properly train more branches. 11/1/21: Day 33. 💧Yesterday the plant was dry enough that the garden staple was pulled free from the soil. I left it out last night, but repositioned it this morning, when I watered it down. I may have to get some wires to keep it down, otherwise the bud growth will be hindered, as the plant will bend backwards blocking the light. 11/3/21: Day 35. Overall I can't complain, as it's still bidding nicely, and is producing a nice deep purple of the buds and leaves, loving it. Plant is going through water at a reasonable rate. About two days before it dries out completely. It is dry enough today that I might water it today, or I might give it until tomorrow morning, but it's more likely to get watered today. I moved the plants orientation over the last few days, as I've noticed the branches facing inward are growing fast than the one on the outside, so I swapped them around. After 2 days, I've already noticed a change. Third branch is a little longer, and the buds are getting bigger.

Pot is feeling very light, so I will give it a good watering later this afternoon. Buds are filling in nice, closing up the gaps in between nodes. If I get anywhere near an ounce from this plant, I will be very happy. Looking forward to trying this again, but with proper training. If I didn't LST this one, I likely would have run out of headspace. 11/5/21: Day 37. 💧Pot was feeling very dry, especially since I forgot to water yesterday. No worries, gave it a large dose of water, all soil is saturated. Buds are still slowly fattening up, and the purple is spreading further and further up the leaves. The hue is exactly as expected from what I've seen from other grows, very, very dark purple. Almost dark enough to be considered black, as if it came from Amsterdam. Height is still manageable, as there hasn't been anymore vertical growth. Can't wait until I grow this again, but under an LED, and with a large amount of training. If I had the full tent, I could have spread this one out, and likely would have produced my largest plant yet. Oh well, I will try for that next time. 11/6/21: Day 38. Pretty soon I will have to start staking up the branches, as I can tell already that the pending weight of the buds will definitely cause them to bend. As the branches are tall, they collect light being cast to the side, causing the branches to lean inward toward the light. I moved the position of some plants, to help alleviate the plants desire to lean, having more directly underneath the light. 11/8/21: Day 40. I didn't wiggle the pot around at all yet, so I'm not sure if it needs watering. The top layer of soil is very dry, but that doesn't mean the lower portion is that way as well. I will give it a check later on when I go back in. 11/9/21: Day 41. Pot is feeling quite light today, so I will give it a nice dose of water layer one, when I go back inside. Buds are forming nicely, and filling up the stem. Some people were telling me I f****d up because of the node spacing, but they didn't even bother to look at what happened, and just commented on what they see. At first they were not wrong, but that's because it was stretching, and not budding. Now that it's budding, the gap between nodes is closing up. As it was a lower branch they refered to, it's never going to look as good as the main cola that's right beside it. They aren't meant to be the same, as side branches rarely have the inner buds sites exposed to light, so it is just the tops that develop nice buds. If I knew it was going to be a beast, I would have trained it properly to spread out and absorb more light. I know for next time, that this is one of those strains that can't be left alone, of you don't have space. 11/10/21: Day 42. 💧Pot was extremely light, so I watered it thoroughly. I removed one damaged leaf, not that it was causing an issue, I just didn't like it's face. Purple is spreading out further, and seems to be getting darker. Probably just me, and not actually darker. The smell is noticeable, not that it's a good smell. It just smells like a plant. Trichomes are coming in nicely, hopefully they become more prominent soon.

Plant stem had pulled the garden staple out, and is way too thick and strong to put back. I will just have to get some garden stakes, and tie the branches to it for support. Buds are still fattening up, the rate is definitely acceptable. Smell is still bleh. I don't think I will actually be giving the plant anymore nutrients this round, as it still has a lot right now, and I'm not certain it will be alive long enough to require more. 11/12/21: Day 44. 💧Pot was very dry already, so I have it another thorough watering. Buds are still getting fatter and darker. The way the nodes are filling the gaps is quite nice. Looks like they will be airy buds, bud there is still plenty of time for them to get denser as the time goes on. 11/13/21: Day 45. The spots on the leaves are getting more prominent, a likely result of the nutrient toxicities it received. The buds are still getting bigger, but they still look airy. The amount of hairs that are already red, are a little concerning, but I think I'm ok, as I don't see anything on the plant that could have pollinated itself with. If I missed something somewhere, oh well, first time for everything. Pot is still holding a bit of moisture, and should be ready for another watering by Monday, maybe Tuesday if I decide to hold off. Still no change in smell, which I'm sure would be more noticeable without the other plant in there anymore. When it does, I'll be sure to make note of it. The amount of trichomes visible gives me hope for a decent quality smoke. I plan to run this one again right away, but under a different light, and less nutrients. Hopefully I will see a difference, from the nutrient change, not the light. The light will be less powerful, so it should definitely change things. 11/15/21: Day 47. Still happy overall with this plant. Even with the nutrient issues, it's still growing strong. Buds are filling out, which is a pleasant sign. Oddly enough, the buds down below are the ones that look the best, perfectly shaped little cones. The amount of res hairs already is amazing, it's almost as if it's just about finished flowering. I don't see many white ones anymore, but there are still plenty that are visibly telling me that it's not yet finished. The buds still have lots of swelling to do, I can see them wanting to get fat. The smell has changed, for the strange. It's smells like it's one giant freshly picked carrot. Not a smell I dislike, just one that I haven't experienced yet with a purple variety. I find it funny how deep purple this plant got, meanwhile another purple plant I grew right beside it, only had hints of it being a purp. I know I love to look at a nice purple bud, I just much rather smoke on something that is a nice solid relaxing indica stone, like Bubba Kush. I have some seeds with those genetics mixed in, and I cannot wait to give them a shot growing. 11/17/21: Day 49. Plants is still looking as shitty as it always has. Damn thing never fixed itself, even though the nutrient level was changed, it still remained one sad little feller. Hopefully that will be different next time.

Plant is showing signs of drying out, but to retaliate, she can sit and wait until I want to. Which may be tomorrow, or it may be never. 11/19/21: Day 51. 💧Reluctantly gave the plant some water, otherwise it was likely to have died. I still find it strange how the top buds keep throwing out white pistils, while the lower buds are nearly all cute little red headed girls. Perhaps I will raise the light a touch, for the heck of it. 11/20/21: Day 52. Plant is removing all nutrients from lower leaves, and seems to be moving towards the final stages of life. Took a peak at trichomes, still quite clear. I was hoping it would be finished soon, I so I can lower the light to an optimum level for the other plants. Buds do still seem to be fattening up, ever so slightly. The smell is still slowly changing from the carotene, and is now a little more towards a typical weed smell. Not a chemical smell, but a nice earthy aroma. I wish I knew what the common terpenes were for this strain, so I know if it's normal or not. I still need to stake the plants branches, but I no longer have the feeling that the buds will get so heavy they fall over. Still, I want to be safe, rather than sorry. 11/22/21: Day 54. Plant is still doing alright. There are noticeably less white pistils on the top of the plant. I will water the plant later on this evening. I had also decided I'm going to harvest this one early, but still not for another week. Once week 9 is completed, that is when I will harvest the plant. I will allow it one more full week to pull out more nutrients. Next run I will let it go longer, and keep testing to see what length is best. I have a feeling this one jump started a little early, as the pistils died back faster and sooner than any other plant I've grown. 11/23/21: Day 55. 🌲Decided I had had enough, and chopped her down. While I would have loved to let he go longer, I harvested her now for two reasons. Firstly, I felt it had been long enough as it was, so I want to see how she handles now, and I will grow it longer next time, and compare. Secondly, I wanted to lower the lights, and remove the plants from atop the buckets. Now they can be placed back down on the ground. With the DDA removed, I can now see the open spaces that I can fill with the other autos.
