One popped right away..the other took 7 days and is a little odd looking. It is growing and hoping will grow out of it. The larger of the 2 has weird markings on a couple of leaves. As of now it's not a concern.
Topped the larger of the 2 so not much growth. The one topped is really looking like it's trying to flower? Throwing out white hairs in multiple spots. Possibly an auto? Which I now wish I hadn't topped. Or have to transplant..i would have trained more with tie downs. Hind sight and all that..The smaller runt isn't doing this..and the plants look different. Never had seeds mixed up.. they came from the same pack...but it's not impossible. I will grow her either way. Need to get her in a bigger container and under some better..more intense light to make the most of it.
She continues to throw out white hairs..but is growing. Not sure if it's stretch from trying to flower or just regular growth. As of now..not impressed with this variety. Time will tell.
I'm 99% sure the larger of the 2 is an auto flower! It's starting to stretch a bit and is definitely showing heads. A healthy plant and will put in a 3 or maybe a 5 gallon container soon and let it do it's thing. The one that was a runt in the beginning is coming along..I did a foliar spray on all plants and it didn't like it. Shows some weird growth patterns but is healthy and growing. Barely has shown sex and at least not an auto. Probably won't keep this variety around and have one more bean of the strain and will grow it out later.

Without a doubt the main plant is an auto. Will give it another week or so in current container and then transplant up to a 3 gallon to finish in. Not devoting a lot of resources to it.. but will allow it to do it's thing. Will switch it to flower formula. Gave it a shot of cal-mag and big bloom already. The second island punch will become the diary..it shows some unusual growth still. But has a nice smell already and have removed a few leaves.

So..now the 2nd of the island punch plants is flowering? The one I was calling the runt is now bigger than the other one. Seeing as it's just now starting to flower.. should be a large auto. I'm now thinking the seed company sent me the wrong beans and will be contacting them about it. Never happened before and have one more seed from this purchase. Probably will leave the now smaller plant in the one gallon container to finish. It's at what I estimate week 4 and starting to show resin. Has a decent smell. Afraid if I transplant with more food it will not fade at the end. Not going to be the best for it or yield..but I didn't set out to grow an auto or wanted to. Will transplant the larger plant into at least a 3 gallon container and hope I have room for this plant. Or might stick it in with the GSC in a 12/12 cycle and see what happens. At least it will be some unexpected auto bud to sample soon.

I would estimate week 4 of flower as of now? Topped dressed this week with some fruit and flower formula and earthworm castings. Gave her a little cal-mag and a shot of big bloom. Going to leave her in the 1 gallon and see what happens. Resin is starting to develope nicely and so is the smell. Changed the diary to flower and should have done it 3 weeks ago getting better at it though. The second island punch is flowering and will most likely transplant to a 3 gallon container. It is going to be a large auto. It's obvious it's a much different pheno and I would say more purple punch leaning...I now think the seed bank sent me the wrong beans..its island punch from Cali connection..just auto's. 1 more seed and will plan it out better..have not grown auto's in years but enjoy the challenge and variety at harvest time. I wouldn't top or transplant when I try again with it. New camera is on my Christmas list!

The smaller of the 2 is coming along nicely and has started to stack. She smells very strong of a floral earthy smell. With a hint of sweetness. Resin gets heavier by the day and estimate a little over 2 oz's from her. The larger plant I would estimate is in the middle of week 2? I transplanted her into a 3 gallon so she could stretch out. Trying to do better with her than the first one. Although I didn't want autos..have to admit I'm looking forward to the final product. And opening up space again in my veg tent.

Got the larger plant into a 3 gallon and she appreciated it. The smaller pheno has started to smell really strong. A sweet earthy flower smell. Unique but basic. The larger of the 2 has started to swell up and is showing resin sooner than the small one did. Not much smell as of now. The yield will be much better however.

Going to take the small plant next week. I was hoping it would fade out a little..but doesn't seem it's going to happen. So probably not a heavy feeder. She is only in a 1 gallon container. Did a leaf strip on the larger pheno and opened her nicely. Should be plenty of light reaching the lowers. Oh..by the way..both share my veg tent with several other plants and doesn't get that much light. 230 watts that is dimmed to 50%. The fact the smaller plants buds are as dense as they are is amazing. Wasn't prepared for autos and making the most of it. Will be glad when I can harvest them.

Harvested the smaller pheno this morning before the lights came on. So glad to free up space in my veg tent. Have her hanging whole plant in a dark room at 65 degrees and 60% humidity. Shouldn't take her that long to dry. The larger pheno that is left has a few more weeks left. I would estimate 4 or 5? We'll see. I will admit not wanting auto's..this was a fun side project and yesterday ordered a pack from mephisto genetics to have another go at it. I picked up their creme de la Chem auto and will not make the mistakes made with these.

I missed a week on here because of holidays..the garden missed me also! My neglect has shown. Going to give this gal a little more time. The first pheno already harvested is actually some decent smoke. This one just has developed a nice smell very similar to the smaller one. Not as intense though. Very nice bud structure and they are fat! Have actually enjoyed the surprise auto's and picked up a pack of creme de la Chem from mephisto genetics and going to try again without all the mistakes of topping and transplanting.

Had to prop this one up with a bamboo stake..she had almost completely fell over. Gave it this past week and it continues to pack on weight and resin. Still a weak smell and nothing great about it. Going to take it soon and will finish out the diary with harvest section.
More to come soon in the auto department. Being surprised by these pissed me off at first but adjusted to it. I have some extra flower between photo harvests and can't complain about that. Nothing special here and very gorilla glue leaning phenos. The larger pheno took 116 days to finish and would been better to put that effort into photos. Next auto attempt will be mephisto genetics that I've already purchased (creme de la Chem) 4 beans that I'm actually looking forward to. ✌️
