This is my first Auto grow and these should be finished around mid December.
Put seeds in pure cotton will discs and once they were sprouted I put them into jiffy pots and then put the jiffy pot directly into the finishing pot.
I'm using organic soil from Dr Greenthumb Old Growth Water Only soil and will use the Canna Bio range once required including the Canna Bio Boost which I have had great results in the past. I will provide updates with photos every week.
I missed a week due to being away so this photo is 2 weeks since the last photo.
Had decent weather with plenty of rain and only tap water so far and looking healthy.
Week 6 and going well.
Had rain most of the week with the weather clearing up over the weekend.
Now giving Canna Bio Boost hand watered at 2ml per litre.
Looking super healthy so far and hopefully the buds will fill out nicely over the next few weeks.
One of the Purple Lemonade plants are showing some beautiful purple colours already and can't wait to see what they look like in a few weeks.
Due to a bottle flipping accident almost half of Purple Lemonade plant 1 got torn off and is showing signs of stress.
I'm spewing but was a freak accident.
Week 7 and going well.
Had pretty much non stop rain for most of the week and hoping to get some decent sunshine.
Starting to also smell quite potent and has some beautiful purple colours especially on plant 2.
Using living soil from Dr Greenthumb and some expanded clay on the bottom of the 3 gallon pots for drainage.
Only watering with either tap water or Canna Bio Boost at around 2 - 3 ml per litre.
Please note this is only week 7 as I made a mistake a few weeks ago so I could add pictures of the second plant.
Week 8 and looking great.
The weather has been terrible basically raining non stop.
The purple colours are amazing and it looks so good.
Because of the rain I haven't been able to water with Canna Bio Boost and the rain looks like it will continue for most of next week.
Really looking forward to harvest.
Week 9 and going quite well especially with hardly and sunshine and lot's of rain.
Looking about ready for harvest now and depending on the weather will harvest this week at some stage.
Purple colours everywhere and smells really skunky.
Lots of trichomes and this has been a pure organic grow with only water and Canna Bio Boost.
Plant 1 which was stressed during flowering had a nice diesely and lemon taste and plant 2 had a nice lemon berry taste. Plant 2 was also almost pure purple buds which I was really excited to see.
Both really strong indica effect and tastes just like they smell. Would definitely recommend growing.
This was a really beautiful strain to grow. I have never grown purple buds before and now I can tick this off my bucket list. I used living soil and water only with the Bio Boost during flowering. Didn't show any nutrient deficiencies at all and had no issues with pests. The weather was terrible especially during the important stages of flowering so it could have also been better. Hope the weather improves DV. I've got some mates who grow in the gong, and said it has been shitty weather so far this year. It's not easy to get the best out of autos outdoor, I haven't had much luck, but seeing as they only grow for around 12 weeks, best results are usually seen in the height of the season, like planting mid Nov/Dec. Looks like you will still get a good little stash out of these ones mate. Nice one 👍💥
As you can see from some of the pictures there is a small amount of bud rot from the continuous rain so I have decided to harvest. Plant number 2 had the most purple colours and plant 1 also has some purple too. Will provide a harvest diary this weekend including a smoke report.
