3lementa1 I put 4 seeds into peat pellets last week some time. The pellets were really saturated and it got cold over night but they did fine. Once the roots appeared, they've been ravenous. The shoots were coming up right before my eyes. One is this White Widow from Canuk seeds.
I'm excited for the flavour of the White Widow. I've been looking forward to growing it for a while.

3lementa1 I put the White Widow sprout and the biggest of the 3 others into a DWC bucket.
I put the peat pellet into a rock wool cube, jammed it to the bottom of the net pot, and covered the top with LECA. There is one air pump running 2 lines with one going to each bucket.

3lementa1 Not much to report. I'm going to wait another week or so and top. It's been hot in the grow room and there's already a smell.

3lementa1 Lots of growth this week. I just topped a couple days ago. The White Widow looks healthy and happy.
3lementa1 When I topped the second time, I accidentally cut off the new growth, so those branches stopped growing. I cut back the previous 2 nodes and I'll be using those branches instead so that I still have 8 colas. The leaves are really fat and healthy looking. I'm enjoying the White Widow so far.
I'll probably switch to HPS and 12/12 this weekend, or maybe next weekend.

3lementa1 PH suddenly dropped a lot and has affected some leaves. It's growing well though. I switched to HPS and will probably put into flower next weekend.

3lementa1 I've been lollipopping the plant. Things are looking and smelling good. I'm trying to maximize the vertical space of my grow room and I think I'm almost at the right height.
I've been keeping the light going at 75% (of 1000w) instead of 50%, which apparently I can get away with in the winter.

3lementa1 Last day of veg! They've both been really thirsty over the last week of veg and the pH has been all over the place. I honestly haven't been messing with it that much even when the pH swings, and I've just been changing out the buckets once a week. Sometimes the pH is 3 on one plant and 8 on the other. It's wild. I'm going to keep a closer eye on it now that I've changed to flower nutrients. The smell is already pretty intense and the stalks are nice and big. They've been blowing up since I put the HPS light in, now that the light cycle is changing they're going to go nuts. I'm stoked. I'm a bit worried about the cold temperatures at night, especially with the light being off for longer.
I did some defoliation on the last day of veg just to get rid of some bigger fan leaves up top and some shoots down below.

3lementa1 I did some defoliation and pruning of lower branches at the start of the week and this plant hasn't recovered as much foliage as the CBD Blue Shark, even though this one was bigger until recently. I think the plants have a preference for being on the left, right underneath the filament part of the light bulb. I also still need to finish the right wall and put white mylar on it. Maybe I will switch the plants for a bit.
3lementa1 Buds are looking good! Hoping they fatten up a bit more.
Day after water change:

3lementa1 Starting next Thursday there will be potential new owners touring the property. It's still a bit early but I'm going to flush now and harvest next week. I think we're close enough. The buds are sticky and smell great. These ones aren't really fattening up that much but they look delicious. It would definitely have been nice to have both plants the same size so they could both benefit from the optimal light distance.

3lementa1 I cut them down the night before the open houses started. The White Widow looks really good. I put them in darkness for 72 hrs, then cut and hung the whole plant, then wet trimmed hung for 18 hrs/day and put in paper bags for about 6 hrs/day for 4 days with a fan oscillating close by. Then in bags for one day, now they've been dry trimmed and put in jars. 50g for the White Widow and it looks great. I can't wait to smoke some.
@3lementa1, the C.O.P. it's amazingly tasty, not the strongest smoke, but very enjoyable and the high is typically skunky. I love that strain mate 😇 💪 🙏
Hey man looking like a real long veg cycle you had on this one! I have some experiance with hydro I built and grew with my own under current systems. I built 2 8 plant systems with 5 gallon buckets and uni seals. The PH in hydro should be at 5.9 you will have a much better absorption of nutrients at that level and more vigorous growth. My last crop I did I vegged for 3 weeks and half way through flower the roots took over the entire systems and the buds never got that big and the crop finished less than optimal by the end the roots filled up every bucket and pipe and the plants could hardly drink. So seeing this long of veg makes me think something isnt optimal and makes me wish to help you friend. Cannabis plants love heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. I am curious what your temps were at with lights on and lights off ? Also, we find the best reservoir temps or feed temps in soil and hydro are 68. 77 is a little on the high side.
If you have yet to do so get yourself a thermal laser temp gun & par meter to better read your plants and get the most potential out of your lights. Also study VPD, Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to cannabis growth it will really help you a lot. I recommend this to all growers, If you can give me some more information on your tent, Temps and things of that nature I can help you improve hopefully! Check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and follow my profile. Keep it up man and happy growing!
